This is a good review of this establishment. I have an acquaintance living in this facility, and it breaks my heart to know that he is going through quite an ordeal in there. Peace be upon my brothers being caged.

Salt Lake County Jail
3415 South 900 West, Salt Lake City, UT 84119
First of all nice job having people post excellent reviews. Too bad anyone with basic reasoning capabilities knows they're fake reviews. Second of all, the salt lake county jail is the biggest example of ego run riot I have ever witnessed. I was a guest at one of the sheriff's office functions last year and I noticed something very disturbing. The sheriff deputies that actaully work the streets were all very level headed down to earth people. However, the deputies working at the jail have a completely different attitude. EVERY SINGLE ONE seriously acted like they were a part of seal team six. Nothing but ego. Do they really think they are the last line of defense for the world? What is it about human psychology that whenever people are placed in a position of authority, it brings out the absolute worst qualities of humanity. Deputy Steffens in particular told me a story about how he craked a "huge" case and confiscated a cache of candy and ramen noodles that an inmate had illegally, (because he was indigent, and had been given some groceries by another inmate). I was sick to my stomach hearing all his fellow "heroes" laugh it up. I interjected and told the group that if I went home for the holidays and told my dad that I had taken some food away from someone, he would most likely look at me like I had lost my mind, inmate or not!!! It's too bad. By the way, cheers to the real deputies that have some humanity left. As for the morons who work at the jail, maybe someone should remind them that they aren't navy seals, they took a criminal justice course because they couldn't make it as anything else. DESPICABLE.

This project has contacted a spacecraft, and wants to reclaim it. Crowd funding Space Research, and recycling, re-using old spacecraft at the same time. How cool is this?  But they need financial help.

Check it out

The ISEE-3 Reboot Project is pleased to announce that our team has established two-way communication with the ISEE-3 spacecraft and has begun commanding it to perform specific functions. Over the coming days and weeks our team will make an assessment of the spacecraft's overall health and refine ...

Hey Jenn: Thanks for sharing. That's some Kind of ordeal you are going through. You are a big part of why I work so hard at the Huntsman Cancer Institute. I think of you every day I work there.
You know your in trouble when they put your "wrist" bands on your ankle and start talking about putting IVs there as well.  It doesn't help matters when in 5 days you have had 3 IVs blow with about 10 sticks to get the three,...

To my friends in the Pacific Northwest and BC, keep your eyes peeled for this woman. She and I have a mutual friend.

This is a really great place to get a drink. It is not as muddy as Winnie the Pooh made it out to be.

The wait time was listed on the website as an hour and 10 minutes, which is a bit long.Fortunately, it arrived in about 40 minutes; however when the pizza arrived it was barely warm. I ordered a large pan pizza with Italian sausage and Bermuda Onion. The crust seemed as if the dough was a bit dried out before it was made into our pie. I bought this to share with my colleague. He and I are of very limited financial means, so it was a pretty big let down to blow this much money on take-out when we would probably been happier with our usual food-bank fare I worked for Pizza Hut back in the day, and this is definitely not the quality product that I used to produce. The driver also appeared to be disinterested or bored with his role in life. Fake it 'til you make it buddy.

Had a good experience here today. I got some printing done. A ream of black and white for $52.50. Got a quote for color, which was $252.00. Helen was excellent and took good care of me. (Edited to add) The proof for the printing was correct. However, I didn't check the final product. It was missing the QR code for my project, so my returns were not as good as anticipated. Caveat emptor. Check the final product to make sure it matches the proof.

I've never been to a place to sell my gold before, and I hope I never have to. But if I do, I'll be going back to Cascade Refining. Shane was the representative that waited upon me and my production assistant when we were there to sell some precious metals. He was demonstrated skill in his trade, speed, and was polite, professional, and courteous.

I flew into from Salt Lake City today, not having eaten anything all day. You see, I'm attending the New Hampshire Liberty Forum at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, right down the street. I looked at what the hotel recommends, but I couldn't figure out the kiosk thing in the lobby. I was watching Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives on the Food Network, and so I was going out of my mind with hunger. So I got on to Google Plus's Local feature. Crush had ten reviews, with 7 of the reviewer's giving it excellent marks for overall dining experience. Yeah, I know this is getting a bit long, but hey! It's my review, remember? So I walk in and a young lady greets me. She is quite petite. More Elvish than Hobbit-like. Anyway, she asks me if I'll be dining alone. I responded in the affirmative, and indicated that I would like to sit at the bar. She leads me to the bar, which is unnecessary, as Crush isn't that big of a place. That's one thing I'd change: Hostess is an unnecessary function in this place, as it really can't have more than 30 seats in the whole place. Having to wait to be seated was sort of awkward, especially since she was right by the front door when I walked in. Did I catch her off guard? I sat down at the bar, and there were a couple of plates and menus in front of the only open seat. I wasn't sure if the seat was occupied, so I asked the older couple if the stool was in use. It wasn't, so I sat upon it. I studied the menu, attracted the expediter's attention, and placed a my order. They have a few beers on tap, and quite a number of bottles of wine. I don't drink, but it may be of interest to those that do. They had Bud Light, Shocktop, Smuttynose, some microbrew from Chicago, and I think Blue Moon on tap. My drink coaster was an advertisement for Sierra-Nevada brewing from Chico, CA, which has an excellent Pale Ale that I had many years ago. The old couple started bickering at each other about work related matters, which was, again, awkward. They lightened up as they were about to leave. We had a short discussion about my hat, which my wife's grandmother crocheted. I got the distinct impression that they don't get many out-of-towners at Crush. I had a nice time meeting the new people there. They seemed to lighten up when I told them that my mom lives in West Leb, and my brother lives in Canaan. I had the Salciccia, which was mostly sausage and onion. Way good. Cooked well in the wood fired oven. A Pepsi, and some fresh cut french fries. Some malt vinegar, or even balsamic vinegar may have made this tasty treat even better. Overall, very good. Service: a bit perfuntory, but warming towards the task at the end. I think if I go here a few more times my marks will improve.
