Google now lets you book spa and salon appointments directly from search results. Book that next haircut without ever leaving Google.

Google is probably you best place to get Rio Olympics 2016 coverage.

Guys, apparently we shouldn't spend time going all #blogblogblog about Android M and new features you will likely see in the future. You know, doing news things like a news outlet who covers Android for a living does when there is news. We should instead be spending time as a glorified SEO site that doubles down as a storefront and affiliate hawker or sponsored post machine while acting as a news outlet.

Insert stupid GIF.

"The Apple Watch ... is kind of slow."

"Sometimes apps take forever to load, and sometimes third-party apps never really load at all. Sometimes it’s just unresponsive for a few seconds while it thinks and then it comes back."

"It’s also surprisingly heavy."

"[The] side button is extraordinarily confusing."

"In the first of many moments where the Watch felt underpowered, I found that the screen lit up a couple of ticks too slowly: I’d raise my wrist, wait a beat, and then the screen would turn on."

"Having a screen that constantly flips on and off is definitely behind the curve."

"There’s no particularly great digital face, and there’s no ability to load up your own watch faces or buy new ones from the store."

"There’s no master switch to turn all notifications on and off, which is a huge pain."

"By the end of each day, I was hyper-aware of how low the Apple Watch battery had gotten."

"You only get a charging cable, which is lame. For $700, you should a nice charging stand, like you get with the $249 Moto 360."

"There’s virtually nothing I can’t do faster or better with access to a laptop or a phone except perhaps check the time."

"There’s no question that the Apple Watch is the most capable smartwatch available today."

Here we go...

Also, can't wait for the crusty bloggers to tell everyone that their April Fools' pranks aren't worth the time because Google does it best.

Lighten up! It's all in good fun.

100% must read. In other words, if you read tech news on the daily, read this now.

Oh. #pickedupsomewolftickets     #theywerentrealeither
I gave Thomas Kelley Connors from TK Tech News multiple chances to come forward. He did not. Here he is in his true form: a liar and a fraud.

Yikes. Wolf tickets sold?
Hey +TK TECH NEWS, are you for real? Did you really just watermark our Nexus tablet mockup as well as the keyboard diagram, going out of your way to cut off our watermarks and insert your shitty "TK" one in?

And that's after talking shit on Twitter last week, about how you're the real journalist, and how +Android Police was picking on you (both obviously false statements).

Fuck right off, you scumbag leech.

Original +Android Police post:

I'm so beyond pissed.

P.S. Here's another gem from TK: the Note 4, complete with the green battery icon from Jelly Bean and literally different devices all in the same leak:

Just a thought, since everyone else seems to have one.

I keep seeing this idea shared that because everyone is calling out OnePlus for their sexist and completely stupid "Ladies First" contest, that their marketing department and CEO are sitting in some room going, "Hah! We win again! Everyone is talking about us!" And also that we should just ignore them rather than give them free press.

While I understand a portion of that point, I think it's complete crap for the world to think that we should all ignore OnePlus for this latest garbage. Some times, people need to be called out for their stupid shit. This is one of those times. If you don't tell people about idiotic companies like this, then people don't know. I would rather people know.

And for those that really believe in "any press is good press," ask Paula Deen how that worked out.

Need some non-Android help. I'm looking for something for my office desk that I can hook both headphones and speakers up to from my iMac, but that allows me to either switch between each, or control the volume of each independently.

Was hoping there was some sort of compact receiver or switch or something, but I have had no luck finding that.

I'm using two Polk Audio TSi100 bookshelf speakers, so they do have banana plugs. Headphones, will change regularly, so they aren't really a factor.

Any ideas, audio gurus?
