I love the Whole Bowl! Do yourself a favor and skip Cafe Yumm and get a Whole Bowl instead. The sauce is better, the service is friendlier, I just love me some Whole Bowl! I always go to the cart on 10th and Alder.

This review is for Hawthorne location & the truck (@Mississippi St fair 2012). Inexpensive, filling, warming, great. Anytime I'm in the area I stop for a Big One with extra Tali. Just remind your little ones to be nice to the fish in the tank if you decide to eat in. Best, (sorry, no pics, I ate too fast)

OMG I love this stuff. They only make one thing, but to say it's a beans and rice bowl with toppings does not do it justice. It is vegetarian, and sort of a cross in flavor between mexican and indian. The brown rice has a curry taste that is phenomenal. The large size is a better deal, and is plenty for two to split.

Delicious, quick, complete meal. Easy on the wallet. Be forewarned - your breath will not be roses after eating the sauce. The tastiness is definitely worth it.

The Whole Bowl is exactly what the name says! its a bowl full of whole hearty healthy ingredients! Whenever I get a chance to be up off of Hawthorne and 43rd I ALWAYS eat here! The bowl costs $5 and you get rice, beans, cilantro, cheese, olives, their special sauce and so much more for your tastebuds to love! its super filling! They also have a food cart up in NW 9th food cart area.

GREAT food cart for a quick lunch. It's basically like a burrito bowl, minus the meat. (Think black beans, brown rice, salsa, avocado, sour cream, cheese, and some special sauce in a compostable bowl.) Highly recommend a couple dashes of the unlabeled hot sauce. It's $5 for the small (12 ounce) and $5.50 for the large (16 ounce). So get the large and you may have a little left over for 2nd lunch. ;)
