This review is for Hawthorne location & the truck (@Mississippi St fair 2012). Inexpensive, filling, warming, great. Anytime I'm in the area I stop for a Big One with extra Tali. Just remind your little ones to be nice to the fish in the tank if you decide to eat in. Best, (sorry, no pics, I ate too fast)

My girlfriend had been telling me I had to try Whole Bowl so I stopped by as I was biking home one day. I ordered a 16oz bowl to go before I realized it was cash only and I didn't have cash. The lady who runs the place said it was no big deal and I could just pay next time I'm there!!!! What??!? Who does that? So cool. I got home, devoured the delicious bowl, and now I can't wait to go back to get another and pay for the one I just ate :)

OMG I love this stuff. They only make one thing, but to say it's a beans and rice bowl with toppings does not do it justice. It is vegetarian, and sort of a cross in flavor between mexican and indian. The brown rice has a curry taste that is phenomenal. The large size is a better deal, and is plenty for two to split.

Delicious, quick, complete meal. Easy on the wallet. Be forewarned - your breath will not be roses after eating the sauce. The tastiness is definitely worth it.

The Whole Bowl is exactly what the name says! its a bowl full of whole hearty healthy ingredients! Whenever I get a chance to be up off of Hawthorne and 43rd I ALWAYS eat here! The bowl costs $5 and you get rice, beans, cilantro, cheese, olives, their special sauce and so much more for your tastebuds to love! its super filling! They also have a food cart up in NW 9th food cart area.

Haystack in a bowl on a rice base: delicious, inexpensive with pleasant service. May or may not have room to eat in, so be prepared to take out if necessary. Highly recommended!
