I love the Sanctuary Spa. My husband & I have been getting our hair cut by Trinity for years, she is really great. I have also had a few massages and have been very happy every time. Such a peaceful place, great service. Coffee, tea, water offered upon arrival a true spa experience.

Great customer service from the moment one enters to the time of check-out. Love my stylist, Emmy Strack, for the personal touches and great cuts, styling and wash. Can't wait to indulge in one of the massages.

I came into the spa in-person to purchase some products, and ended up scheduling my first appointment while I was in. The girl who was assisting me was trying to do 5 things at once, and I had to correct her 3 times while she was scheduling my appointment on what kind of service I was trying to schedule and for what day. When I showed up for my appointment, they had me incorrectly booked for a massage, rather than the facial that I had scheduled in-person. The front desk girls asked me to re-schedule, but this date/time was the only time available in my schedule for the next two weeks. They offered me nothing in return for the screw up and for the inconvenience, and I ended up walking out of the salon after the gal at the front desk "dismissed" me rather abruptly. You can be sure that I will NOT ever schedule a service at this spa, and will purchase my Aveda products elsewhere. I was appalled by the poor customer service!

I've been getting my hair cut by Steve Ukes for years and I can't imagine having anyone else do my hair. I just got some auburn lowlights done and they look fantastic. So natural, and exactly what I asked for. They blend perfectly with my brown hair. He is incredibly skilled at what he does. He can do all kinds of styles, young and old and knows what will work for your hair and face shape. Do yourself a favor and make an appointment with Steve!

My wife had been a customer at Sanctuary Salon and Spa in Eden Prairie for around six years. In that time, she only had two times she had a redo on her hair color. My wife returned a third time for a redo asking simply for the same hair color she previously had just two months prior (basically just to spruce up her color). The stylist did not listen to my wife and she left with a different color than she had wanted. She reluctantly called the manager to get a redo. When my wife came into the salon, the assistant manager approached my wife (while she was sitting in the stylist's chair) not only in front of her stylist, but in front of other stylists and clients as well. The assistant manager asked that from that point on, my wife needed to "go out into the sun and look at the hair color before she left the salon" and needed to stop "wasting" their time by coming back for a redo. My wife felt so embarrassed and humiliated for how she was treated. She said while she was sitting in the stylist's chair, after the encounter with the assistant manager, she wanted to cry and couldn't wait to leave. When my wife returned home, she called the salon to complain about how she was treated. She contacted the manager, who emailed her back saying, " The assistant manager did nothing wrong and that her behavior was standard procedure." So much for customer service. My wife has never been high maintenance or a complainer, and when the stylist did not give her what she simply asked for, she was in turn, humiliated and shammed for returning for what she wanted and paid for. This is not a place my wife or I would recommend or return to.

Sanctuary Salonspa in Eden Prairie is a very relaxing place. I have had my haircut with several stylists there and they are all excellent. Very nice lobby area with attentive staff. I highly recommend it!

I rarely take the time to write reviews, but skip this location and head to either Tonka Bay or even better, the other Eden Prairie location (which is smaller, but the service is WONDERFUL every time no matter who you see). I've called this location three times now to book the Living Social deal they ran. The first time I called was soon after I bought the deal & they said they'd call back to schedule it and never did. The second and third time, they flat out just told me they are booked indefinitely because they sold over "2100 Living Social deals". As a small business owner (and someone who has offered Groupons/Living Socials in our business as well), I recommend better planning and even more importantly, more polite staff.

I love the newly remodeled location in Eden Prairie! I just had once again the best facial and massage and the desk personnel was friendly and helpful. I just read the other reviews and I am so surprised. I have been going there for years and I have never been disappointed! I also think the Excelsior location is great, and I buy a lot of clothes from the botique. The clothes are unique and fairly priced. I am going back to Sanctuary and will continue to refer my friends!
