If you're going to have a problem with a place that's too pretentious to have a sign or drink menu, "Drink" might not be the place you should wait half an hour to get in to. However, if you enjoy the concession that the whole point of this bar is to put on a bit of a show, then this is a fabulous place to stop in, the drinks are reasonably priced, and generally very enjoyable. To that end, make sure to stick around long enough to sit at the bar (the drinks we got while standing were fine, but not the crown jewel) and realize that the reason people have to wait outside when the inside may not seem that packed is because there is a very intentional choice not to have an overcrowded bar, with people pushing to get drinks and waiting impatiently to be heard. Especially as someone whose 20's have come and gone, I really appreciate this choice, and frankly when we got there at 6 pm or so, we didn't even have to wait in line for more than a few minutes. The drinks at the bar were fabulous, the bartender was interesting and fun to watch and the whole experience was fun and unique (at least for Boston).

Never in my life have I given something a 1 star rating... but this place deserves it, if only to bring down it's 4.4 average. I've been here twice now, and to say anything from the drinks to the service to the atmosphere is consistently good would be a lie. Most of the bartenders are pretentious and arrogant, with many of them playing favorites with the regulars (which is totally fine until that moment when half the bar has bonded over the fact that no one else is being served). However, the inspiration for this review was a certain manager named Tyler, who decided to cut off my friend for drinking too much WATER, believing it to be a sign of heavy intoxication. Not only was my friend within the legal BAC, but upon trying to explain his sobriety to Tyler, we discovered that our entire group was cut off due to association -- without any warning or reason other than water consumption. Tyler and several other bartenders treated us all with such a surprisingly rude condescension that we even vowed to never go here again.

A nice place but be prepared to possibly stand when you get in. The atmosphere is very chill. Drinks are pretty good (there is no cocktail menu so you have to describe the type of drink you want and they'll make one for you). They have some food choices as well. My party ordered a drink to pick us up and they created us a drink for about 10 people!!!

Really busy with lines of people happy to wait. Attentive servers questioning you about your preferred tastes in cocktails. Custom drinks by skilled mixologists. A simple decor punctuated by the conversation of satisfied customers. A terrific experience!

Very disappointed in this establishment from the minute we walked in to the minute we left. First, we had to wait approximately 30min before we were allowed to enter. Why? Well, not sure being that there was plenty of space inside the lounge. Though I have to admit, the gentleman who took down out names was very polite and approachable. When we finally were able to enter, I did appreciate the decor. I thought the fact that the lounge had three different bars was a nice effect. We were initially placed at the standing sections along the wall but as someone that just spent the previous 30min standing in heels, I really wanted to sit down so as soon as we found an open pair of seats at the bar, we took them. We were approached by a very rude bartender who instead go greeting us told us that those seats were taken (which they were not). Without even apologizing, he walked away. When he finally got around to ordering our drinks, I asked for a champagne based drink. Now this place is supposedly known for their cocktails and I was expecting to a great drink but instead I got a very below average French 75. The rude bartender actually gave my drink to someone else (which he compted), had me waiting 20min to make a basic drink, and had the nerve to (yet again) not apologize. When it was time to finally leave, we had to ask for the bill TWICE because this rude bartender forgot about us. I always tip but I did NOT tip this bartender for his service. He was rude, unprofessional, with below average cocktails. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this establishment-even if you do comp me a cocktail. Overrated!

Drink has some interesting ideas, such as the bartenders making you the drinks based on what you tell them you like rather than pre-defined drinks. The drinks are usually quite good, but can honestly also be hit & miss. The food bites we had were quite good. The atmosphere and decor are quite nice, we enjoyed the overall feel of the place. The service is okay, but it depends on the bartender. Ours seemed uninterested and trying to be too chill about everything. He seemed caught off guard or maybe just disinterred at any request (e.g. ordering a bite off the menu). We also had to wait quite to get anyone's attention in general. I'm not sure why they have the system of having guests stand for a while at the walls/bars, and then sitting them down in a different location at the bar. I suppose it's because they can fit slightly more people in that way, but I don't think it's significantly more people than if they just put more chairs around the walls. When they move you, the waiters/bartenders seem to lost track of you for a while. Overall it's good atmosphere, drinks and food make up for the service and peculiar set up.

Absolutely recommend this place! Service was excellent, drinks were the most delicious I ever had. It's not the place to get drunk, it's the place to enjoy the present.

Drink is a wonderul salon style bar made for the ever growing popular hipster crowd. Located below Sportello in the Seaport District and across the street from Lucky's, this hidden gem is quitely popular with locals but unknown to tourists. The bartenders are dressed like they are in era of the speakeasy. There are no name brand bottles decorating the walls. Instead you find small metal chairs around a wooden bar with glass label free bottles and fresh fruit in bowls. The rest of the bar standing room only. Serves small bar bites but the interesting concoctions is what they are known best for producing. Best for first, 5th or 10th date!

Drink hasn't shared anything with you.

People are more likely to share with you if you add them to your circles.
