Not going to lie. The new G+ app for iOS is about the slickest app I've seen hands down.

Spears Garage Sale III is Thursday and Friday. I thought we sold everything we had to sell but nope, we have more! Don't worry, we are filling the new house faster than we are selling the old stuff and we don't even move in until next month.

The new remodel is very nice. The store is much more navigable now. Starbucks and Subway stores inside the main store. They have a lot of self-check lanes and the wait to check out on a Saturday afternoon wasn't bad at all. Good meat dept. and produce dept.

Been craving some Yemeni food for a while and decided to check out Yemen Cafe for the first time. It has a diner atmosphere with booths and tables. There is a TV on playing Middle Eastern programming. Sweet tea is self-serve and free. Chicken gallaba was outstanding. We will be back just for that. The bread is $1 and comes with a garlicky don't saucer that t is strong but delicious. I had lamb haneeth which was pretty good but I prefer the version at Sheeba in Dearborn. It isn't a fancy places but the food has a very homemade feel to it and there prices are very fair. It's a place welcoming to both locals and visitors from farther away.

We live the Malt House! Great beer selection that is well-curated. No food but often there is a food truck on site. The patio is great on a warm night. Bartenders are always helpful if you don't know what you want. Check out the pro-teacher sticker on the window.

Went for breakfast on a Saturday morning. Omelette selection was good. I had a potato and asparagus omelette. It was tasty but I'd actually say it was too dense. It was thick and I couldn't finish the whole thing. Is have preferred something more traditional. I chose biscuits as my side instead of toast. They came out cold and that made them thoroughly unenjoyable. The homemade compotes were delicious but come out in these very unattractive containers that make them appear unappealing. We also ordered the corned beef hash. The corned beef comes in almost a baby food consistency. It's somewhat of a mush. The biscuits that came out with that dish were warm and delightful. The food overall was good, not great. For the price, I have to go with 3 stars. I will beer back to try some other items and will update this review. The dinner menu looks really good and I think dinner is going to be more in their wheelhouse. The atmosphere is nice by the way. It's a nice traditional Irish feel. They have a good happy hour too in the bar area.

Good Hopcat location. Right downtown and it has two levels. Likes all Hopcats, the beer selection is awesome and the food is excellent. Knowledgeable staff. Prices not bad for downtown. Lots of screens for big games!
