Popular for its ice cream, shakes & cupcakes, this compact cafe also features American bites.- Google
"Got a macaron ice cream sandwich, Thai tea flavored."
"There were chunks of red velvet cake, including some frosting."

When Milk opened the lines would go out and around this little corner shop. And, I would say to myself, "man, this place must have some good stuff." So, driving down Beverly, I finally noticed no line and I almost missed it because there was no line. Without the line, this shop seemed not to exist. First, I was amazed how tiny this place was. Then, I realized that that is why the line went out and around during the novelty phase of this establishment. I had heard that their ice cream was quite delicious, but given that it was too cold for ice cream, I opted for a cookie and cupcake to slake my sweet tooth. The cookie was chewy and tasty although a bit on the small side. As for the cupcake, it was bit disappointing as it was not moist.

Tried their Thai Tea Macaroon, Chocolate Ice Cream and Iced Jasmine Tea. Everything was really good however the Thai Tea Macaroon was AMAZING! Wish I had the room to try the rest of the macaroons which all looked amazing. All their desserts in the case look amazingly delicious.

One word. Amazing. Loved their Macaroons Ice Cream Sandwich. Delectable, sweet and beautifully textured. Totally worth spending 20 minutes in the queue which extends to outside the shop. If I am in LA, I am never going to give this place a miss.

This place is awesome! Atmosphere is very casual. You'll see families and kids here. Got the iced green tea and Thai tea. Also order of the Everyday Sundae. It's perfect way to end the day. They have assortments of desserts and it looks like the red velvet are the crow favs.

I got the red velvet sandwich. It was really sweet. My friend got the Thai tea sandwich. It was really good. The tea flavor was strong. Sadly they don't have blue velvet sandwich anymore

An absolutely refreshing and delightful new ice cream spot. All flavors are handmade and with fresh, local ingredients. Yes, it's a bit pricey. 4.75 for one scoop but if you are with a friend or on a date, you can split a flight of 4 flavors for $10Love the toasted coconut and goat cheese ice cream. You gotta try em! Also the sweet corn is a solid choice from their seasonal menu.

So I'm at Umami Burger and they have MILK brand ice cream sandwiches, but why eat them there when you can take a 5 minute drive and get the fresher real deal, all the varieties original. Grasshopper uses green handmade cookies that make it absolutely the best Grasshopper I've ever had. Everything is so fresh, but it's not a creamery like you'll find in SF because they do food and coffee even though you don't see a cappuccino machine or any pictures of the food. They sell pints to take home which seem like they aren't stocked, but then you realize it's because they are flying off the shelf. The dining area is pretty open and scarce for the long waiting lines. The chairs are uncomfortable ikea and not meant for lounging around like a starbucks like you'd think when you saw people hanging out for hours. The staff seem cool, but I got this one guy who was pretty butt hurt about his life and he took it out on us. I could tell the other employees were attentive and helpful. You'll see this guy right away, trust your instincts and your experience will be better. The side hallway is thin and it's a shared bathroom. You also can't smoke in the outdoor patio and must be near the curb, or so they say.

I'm in love with their macaron ice cream sandwich! All of their sweets are cute and unique :) Their hand made ice cream is fantastic. I got the Grasshopper macaron ice cream sandwich (mint chocolate chip ice cream sandwich 1/2 dipped in chocolate). Tip: bring friends and get different sweets and share!
