i have been dying to come here for years, after my friend who is LA-obsessed told me about it. i finally went a few months ago, and man was i disappointed! of course, i ordered a macaron ice cream sandwich. while i love ice cream and macarons separately, putting the two together just doesn't work. the reason is because a frozen macaron ends up being hard and unchewable. the flavor was still good, though. next time i'll try something else, as their other items look pretty tasty!

Just had the Vanilla Bean dipped in chocolate macaroon ice cream sandwich and it was definitely worth trying. Very soft and luscious macaroon sandwich with creamy soft vanilla bean ice cream. It was a tad too sweet but totally expected. I would love to try the mint chip next time. Don't miss out! It's a must try - at least once!

Cookies and ice cream: Good. Macarons and ice cream: Better!! Getting an ice cream sandwich from Milk is quite an ordeal. First, you must look for parking, of which there are none. The neighborhood is permit only and there are very limited metered spots. I circled for almost 15 minutes before luckily finding a spot. It took my friend quite a bit longer to find hers. You then proceed to stand in a giant line out on the street, regardless of the weather conditions. It was freezing when I went and slightly sprinkling and the wait was still absurd. I can't imagine the insanity of a line you have to wait in on a hot day. Once you finally get inside the door, you continue to wait in line. You can actually ask for samples while you're in line if you want to try a particular flavor. They don't always have all the ice cream flavors available even if they have sandwiches in those particular flavors already made. We ended up getting a mini red velvet cupcake and ice cream sandwiches in grasshopper and jasmine flavors. I really enjoyed the jasmine. The grasshopper was not as good. I really liked the texture of the macarons and I felt that it went perfectly with the ice cream. I didn't enjoy the red velvet cupcake. It was left out too long and all the edges were really dry. The frosting was also too sweet.

Stop #1 on our ice cream tour adventure. MILK is super cute, with plenty of street parking on a Sunday afternoon, a line that moves quickly, lots of seating indoors and out, and a great daily selection. We opted for splitting the Thai Tea ice cream sandwich, and I was very satisfied. The ice cream was so flavorful and I really like that the cookie part of the sandwich is macaron. I'll be back for the blueberry crumble, for sure!

Good dessert but expensive. Be prepared to pay over $10 for 2 items. I'm also sad I didn't see TSwift here, maybe I would've given it 5 stars if I spotted a celeb. I've had the red velvet and cookies and cream ice cream macaron sandwiches, and both were rich and delicious. Blue velvet cake is pretty good, but I don't think the blue dye is good for your body. Look near the trash can next to window next to the entrance~ you're in for a surprise ;)

I ordered The Brownie and it was pretty good. I'd say that the best part about it was the ice cream as it is so soft and melts in your mouth. The chocolate and the brownie weren't nearly as good as the chocolate from Ghiradelli's in Hollywood. However, Milk is cheaper than Ghiradelli's.

Best macaron ice cream sandwiches!!! Every time I've been here, there has always been a line out the door. I guess that's the price you pay if you want delicious desserts and I definitely say it's worth the wait. Having come here several times now, I've been able to try a lot of their macaron ice cream sandwich flavors. My favorites are the red velvet and the thai tea flavors. The red velvet ice cream sandwich has actual red velvet cake crumbs mixed into the ice cream. The thai tea flavor in the macaron ice cream sandwich is so spot on and delicious. The best part of the sandwich, of course, is the macaron. It's very light and slightly chewy just how macarons should be. Each macaron ice cream sandwich is $5. Although it's a little pricy, it's definitely worth it.

My sister found this place on Yelp. I must say the place was difficult to find, probably because we were from Sacramento, but I had the cookies and cream macaron Ice cream sandwich, my sister had the Thai tea, and my mother had the leche du....something. It is dipped in caramel. Very delicious! The macarons were so perfect!
