Terrible experience with Microskin in Pasadena, California. They have a shared office with Crown City Rehabilitation Institute. I arrived 15 minutes early for a 2:00 pm appointment. I advised the receptionist that I was there for Ceres/ Microskin which is what is on their website: http://www.microskincenter.com/contact/ The gentleman gave me a stack of paperwork and asked for my insurance card and ID. The paperwork was for Crown City Rehab and had 4 pages related to pain, rehab and medical history that had nothing to do with my visit. It had paperwork for emergency contact, insurance information, HIPAA Privacy and Consent to Treatment. I filled it out even though it seemed odd. The gentleman started arguing with a patient who had been told his appointment was at 1:00 by other lady working at the desk for Crown City Rehab, she said your lucky I even gave you an appointment. Another patient was told he was at the wrong address, that he had to go to another location, and a third patient started having an argument on the telephone. I called Microskin and asked if they were affiliated with Crown City Rehab, and she answered no. She said tell them I was there for Linda with Microskin. I told the gentleman and he said "oh that's the wrong paperwork, Linda stepped out and asked me to give this paperwork to you to fill out." Finally the correct paperwork. I fill it out and at 2:15, the two receptionists start conversing and the lady says "I think Linda is in her office." Sure enough she was. I tell Linda of the bad experience and she tells me, "chill out, this has never happened before." She tells me he doesn't work for Microskin and says she isn't affiliated with Ceres Wellness Spa (its on their website!) and continues to argues with me about the situation and says "maybe you should ask Guillermo for an apology its his first day." To which I respond "Why should he apologize if he doesn't work for your company." At this point I had had enough with Linda's unprofessional attitude and the whole experience and decided to leave.
