The Web Bluetooth API is now available on Mac, Android & Chrome OS as an Origin Trial so that any website can use this experimental API in Chrome with no flag.

To use it, you’ll need to request a token for your origin at http://bit.ly/WebBluetoothOriginTrial and insert it in your application. See how at https://github.com/jpchase/OriginTrials/blob/gh-pages/developer-guide.md

Preview of async/await working in Chrome. 👍 for code that looks sync on the surface but is async under the hood 🔥

Try it in Chrome 54 with experimental JS features turned on in about:flags.

Did an experiment trying to track lateral movement of a cardboard-style HMD (i.e. estimate the phone's position in space) using the camera stream and barcode markers at known positions.

It went surprisingly well – so well indeed, that I am convinced one could achieve wireless and cheap room-scale VR experiences. Through the browser. WebVR for the win!
