Last weekend Michael Adams and I hiked the "5 peaks challenge" at Hanging Rock state park, hitting 5 of the parks highest and prettiest peaks and overhangs! With a waterfall detour, it worked out to over 12 miles, with 3200 feet of climbing!

I feel incredibly good about it. At the top, I kept remembering the times when I wasn't even strong enough to be pushed in a wheelchair and thinking that, no matter how sad other things can seem, I've already come really far!

I want to win, too! I love the idea of having a small number of miniatures to focus on!

I'm getting the sudden closing of the app right after I open it. Also a bunch of alarms set for midnight that I didn't create.

These problems occurred in the previous version. Make sure you opted in to beta and try to update the app. Let me know if you don't see the update in Play Store.

Is anyone else using the calendar integration? When I first added the calendar to my google calendar, it added some events, but it's not adding them anymore or updating them when tasks are added or changed in ticktick.

Ticktick, My New Task Solution
Back in October, I wrote about the  acquisition of my beloved task manager Astrid by Yahoo and its immediate shutdown thereafter . Since I'm pretty prone to distraction, I rely pretty heavily on what I like to call an external client for my frontal lobe - e...

Ooh, wow, I like the looks of these and I especially like the small skirmish scale - smaller forces mean a less intimidating number of minis to paint and more time to spend on each!

This is a horrible song. The lyrics might have been meant to be ironic and tongue-in-cheek, but he sings it so straight that it just sounds awful and insulting.

I agree, Ez, it's so patronizing, that woman should ditch him immediately.

It took me way too long to get around to changing this review. The new management is really friendly and helpful! Thanks!

Incredible! I had the risotto with beets and that melt-in-your-mouth crispy kale. It was UNBELIEVABLE. Salads were fantastic too. My only complaint - I ordered some cheeses and they served them cold. Cold cheese = no flavor. Otherwise fantastic. Beautiful space, peaceful, great parking right across the street!

I've been eating here since I was a kid. The food is pretty standard indian, but I love the feeling of going down those soft stairs around the corner (though it's not even remotely handicap accessible) into a tasty-smelling room below-ground. Atmosphere is great, and the food is quite good!

I go here often. Incredible prices, BEAUTIFUL courtyard seating with a lovely fountain, and the food is simply incredible, mostly southern Indian. I also like taking people there because even if they turn out to be vegetarian, there's delicious options for them!

Perfect collegey cafe, but the cider is meh! This is a really nice place to sit and work, calm and quirky, and the daily trivia questions (answer it right, get ten cents off) are fun and easy. But the cider is unexceptional... stick to coffee or cocoa!

I went for lunch today - amazing! The food (we got the paneer masala and the "bread chop" and both were phenomenal) was miles different from average Indian restaurant faster, and the paneer was the best I've ever had. Decor and staff were perfect, and my only warning its to avoid the fennel seeds they put by the door - they really cleared out amok that wonderful flavor from my mouth! A little expensive for my taste. Lentil dumplings are so-so, kind of dry and crusty. On the other hand, caulifower bezule masala dosa is one of the best dishes I've ever had in a restaurant!
