So....  This 'surveillance blimp' (left picture) that lost control, was supposedly only 1 of 2 that exist on the East coast in Maryland.

Yet... It helped us identify something we saw out in the middle of BFE south Texas.  (right picture)

Hurricane Patricia - Strongest Hurricane EVER Recorded in history.  Sustained winds of 200+ mph means this is an equivalent of an F4 Tornado, with a monster wide path.  Note; only 4% of all tornado's ever make it to F4 status.

(this axle nut got rounded while snapping  a 1/2" breaker bar with another 2 foot pipe over that)

When all else fails.....  IT'S HAMMER TIME!

PS.... have somebody hold the brakes.  Helps maintain the impact you need to ultimately break it loose.

This hose is a total pain in the ass to change!  I was half tempted to take the whole bracket off, but that also involved the alternator.... ugh.  What a horrible design.

Customer called and said the rotor fell off.... I thought they were crazy

Now I get it!

Whats amazing is how smooth it's actually cut despite being chewed down to actually separate from the center hub.

Great radiators, unbeatable prices. I often buy AC compressors from them as well, always at great deals.

As far as used auto anything, PAMs really does better than anybody. They send clean, good look motors with lots of extra parts. Makes for a clean install and happy drivers. Enough said.

They get 1 star, because 0 is not an option. April Realty is trying to hit me (and my credit) with over $8,000 to basically remodel a house they kicked me out of to sell. First off, the carpets were in (doggy) shape when we got there. They had an O3 machine running to get rid of the dog smell when we moved in. It was hard to complain at this point, you're moving in, and you're always trying to be super positive moving into a place to better the experience of a new home. Also, brand new carpet meant any damage was going to be on us, and we did our fair share of wear and tear, so the used carpet was fine by us. But then, after living there for only 1 year, we got a letter to move out. The brother of the owner comes in for a brief inspection. He tells us they are selling it, they will be replacing all the flooring and painting all the walls; basically, don't worry about it. When we moved out within their disastrous short notice, we did leave some garbage behind, and did not bother to do a deep cleaning. But We also had $1,325 deposit down on the property. Honestly, I was not even depending on getting all or much of it back, but if they did hit us with $1,000 and we got a few hundred back, that would have been acceptable. No, instead, they kept the $1,325 and also want $8,179. Basically - let's get a family with 2 kids to move in, take their rent for a year, kick them out, then hit them with the bill to re-model and sell the place! Sounds like an Awesome plan! Then when they try to get another place, it will be ridiculously hard, and you'll be cornered into trying to apply for credit cards to pay off their crazy balance. Oh but wait, they are damaging your credit, so good luck getting out of this without cash flowing thousands of dollars to a crooked leasing company.

The folks here are legit, but it's definitely a machine shop. There's engine parts laying around everywhere, they are always over-worked, and probably not making what they should. But, none the less, the work gets done, and they charge decent prices. Overall, the best machine shop in Austin... (and i've used em all)
