We are thrilled to welcome the multi-award-winning Titanium Quartet to SING! The Texas Vocal Arts Festival! Titanium will make a special appearance during the Friday Night Competition and Concert, November 17 at 7:30 p.m in Rockwall. Get tickets now at www.singtexas.org!

The ladies of Titanium are members of Sweet Adelines International Heart of America Region 25. Based out of the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area, this fearsome foursome brings a wealth of singing experience (chorus/quartet) with leadership, creativity, education and drive to every performance, rehearsal and coaching opportunity. They are the 2017 Sweet Adelines International Region 25 Champions and in October, won the International Novice Quartet Award (for first time competitors) and placed sixth in the world at the Sweet Adelines International Quartet Contest in Las Vegas.

Treat yourself to tickets to SING! The Texas Vocal Arts Festival, November 17–18 in Rockwall.

Check out the frighteningly fantastic lineup at the Friday Night Scholastic Competition, featuring the best student a cappella groups in Texas: One Note Stand A Cappella (University of Texas at Austin), Fusion (Marcus High School), License To Trill (Texas Christian University), Vocal Ease (Flowermound High School), Madison Avenue (Madison High School), Beauties and the Beat A Cappella (University of Texas at Austin), UNT Green Tones (University of North Texas) and Walk The Line (Rockwall High School), with special appearances by 908 A Cappella and Titanium Quartet.

Come for the out-of-this-world workshops on Saturday led by Featured Instructors, Lisa Forkish & Erin Hauger Hackel, FreePlay, and many more expert clinicians and presenters.

And don't miss the spooktacular Saturday night concert featuring Musae, Vocal Majority, The Rich-Tone Chorus, the Festival Chorus and the winners of the scholastic competition!

PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES!

Interested in performing with your group at SING! The Texas Vocal Arts Festival? We want to hear you!

THREE OPTIONS

* Students, apply to compete in the first-ever SING! Texas Scholastic Competition. Perform with your peers with professional sound and lights for outstanding prizes and glory! Our October 14 submission deadline is approaching quickly, so hit up singtexas.org/compete for more information, and see you on stage!

* Groups of all ages, apply to perform during our Saturday daytime showcase! See below for details on how to apply!

* Groups that purchase their All Access Passes and indicate their interest will be slotted to give a 10–15 minute impromptu, pop-up performance during workshop passing periods on Saturday!

We can't wait to see what you all have in store for us!

HOW TO APPLY

* Submit a video of your group singing your best song, including only individuals that will be attending the festival and performing with the group. The video should be live, unedited, and no more than eight minutes long. All entries must consist of vocal music only (no instruments/backing tracks).

* Send the link to compete@singtexas.org or perform@singtexas.org by October 14. Your group will be notified by October 21. A diverse selection of a cappella experts and enthusiasts will serve on the selection committee. Sets will be eight minutes long. Four to six groups will be selected to perform in the daytime showcase. Pop-up performances are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

* Purchase All-Access Passes for each member of your group. To be considered for a performance opportunity, ALL group members must purchase an All Access Pass!

EXCITING NEWS! We're happy to announce two of our brilliant featured instructors that are coming to SING! The Texas Vocal Arts Festival: the inspiring Lisa Forkish and Erin Hackel!

From mind blowing masterclasses to workshops about effective directing, arranging, songwriting, healthy contemporary singing, and creating a winning competition set, come learn from these flawless ladies who are moving a cappella forward. Oh, and did we mention that they also have a combined 10 Varsity Vocals and CASA festival victories between them?!

It’s going to be an educational weekend, that’s for sure. That being said… DO YOU HAVE ANYTHING YOU CAN BRING TO THE TABLE? We’re putting out an official call for instructors! If you're brimming with unique class ideas, or just want to share your experience with the next generation, follow the link to submit your instructor application by SEPTEMBER 23!

We are excited to announce our Friday night scholastic competition headliner: the dazzling Musae (musaevocal.com)!

Musae is America’s top Female Vocal Band. Comprised of a cappella superstars from across the country, these women empower audiences with their innovative sound and fierce stage presence. Since 2011, members of Musae have made television appearances on NBC’s The Sing-Off, MTV’s MADE, and ICCA Finals. They have headlined some of the most prominent music festivals both in the U.S. and have also written, engineered and produced award winning tracks for artists around the globe. In summary, these ladies’ are a cappella’s newest game changers, and we are thrilled for them to share their music and knowledge with us in November!

With world-class performances and industry leading workshops, Musae seeks to inspire and educate young artists and performers everywhere to create music and spread harmony.
