I always consider going here to be a real treat and am especially excited about having a change of work schedule, because with Sundays off, I can finally try their pozole. If you think a vegetarian menu would be severely limited, this restaurant needs to be your first stop. I've made it a point to try something different every time I come here (with the exception of the Tamale Oaxacaena, which is a MUST) and every time, I'm astounded by how good my order is. Far and away one of my favorite restaurants in the city and it's all because of the food.

Really good, flavorful, and well-textured vegetarian 'meat' in classic dishes. I've enjoyed the avocado torta, the chorizo burrito, and a squash blossom hurache. The torta was delicious and buttery, the chorizo burrito eerily similar to the real thing, but the hurache was a bit on the bland side. Absolutely worth the trek if you like your meat to be made of vegetables, but meat-eaters can find something better. BYOB with a $3 corkage fee.

Being a vegetarian, it's not easy finding good vegetarian tacos. One day on a date night with my girlfriend, we stumbled upon this little hidden spot in Logan Square/Bucktown area. The place is ALL vegan with tons and tons of options of meatless tacos. The prices of their tacos are pretty reasonable and It also helps its a BYOB place.

Just stopped in to have a healthy drink, and tried a smoothie with spinach and kale, and it was surprisingly delicious! Latin music playing softly, and a relaxing vibe. Might come back to try their food soon.

Nice fresh little restaurant. Veg based meats are soy, not gluten, a must. The smoothies are strangely delicious. I say strangely because they are different and better than anything I've ever had, but I don't know why. The vegan cupcakes are also the best I've ever had. Service isn't great unless the daughters are there, in which case it's 4.5 stars. Very inexpensive. Closed saturday's. They really could use a rice stir-fry on the menu.

Good smoothies, and a focus on healthy vegan and vegetarian Mexican style food. It's pretty good as far as vegan goes, if you like soy based non-meat.

Tex-Mex (Mexican): all "meat" is vegan, choice of vegan or dairy cheese, only the freshest ingredients. Tacos made traditional (cilantro & onions) or American (lettuce & tomato). Service is very hit-or-miss, but otherwise its an instant favorite!
