Incredible depth of flavour, while still being quite light.

A terrible experience: The food is ordinary at best. The menu is pretty standard pub stuff, but the plates we were served were awful. Battered fish was soggy, ham was an anonymous pinkish disc, and the burger was so burnt that we could peel off a thick black crust before eating. The serving staff seemed to be trying their best, but we were left for 30 minutes without being able to order - having to go and find someone to tell them we were ready. The staff did give us a free round of drinks for the bother, but it was little consolation. Awful.

We booked the whole restaurant for a birthday party, and the guys at Morito really looked after us. We let them bring out a selection of dishes to share, and they were all *delicious*. Highlights were a beetroot emulsion with feta and walnuts, and a heavily spiced aubergine and lamb dish. Everyone was raving about the quality and variety afterwards!

Decor is pretty entertaining - don't go there with your parents. My food was dire. Rubbery breaded camembert from Iceland (the shop not the country) and over-seasoned grey beef.

Great value, great selection, quite often have special offers when they've over-ordered something a restaurant needed.
