I just wanted to say thank you. A few months ago I ordered some golden yellow satin and lime green satin from you. The aim was to make a Disney Princess dress from scratch based on The Princess and the Frog. I'm a self taught sewer and have only been doing so for a year. The only guide I had was a wedding dress I pulled apart and the rest is history. I made something I was very proud of for a friend's granddaughter not realising the sentimental value it would have to her. Because of how well it turned out to be, I've enrolled on a Btec fashion course to follow my dreams. I just wanted to say thank you because the fabric was perfect for the project. Kind regards, Mary

The Fabric Centre response - Hi Mary, That's wonderful and very inspirational !

Hi!

Attached are photos of my Batman cloak/cape which come highly rated by
my customers for the fabric's quality, feel and appearance.  I love the
fabric because it's easy to work with - especially as it has a one way
stretch.  Your service is the best for communication, price, despatch
times and quality!

A huge congratulations to Witheridge Riding Clubs quadrille team, they not only qualified to compete at the Olympia International Horse Show, which is an achievement in itself, they finished 3rd. The Olympia Horse show is one of the biggest events in the equine calendar and this year the team went as the Wonderful Witheridge Wizards and performed a 10 minute sequence to the music of Harry Potter. The Fabric Centre was delighted to supply the fabric for this event. As you can see from the photograph, Carol and the team used our plain crushed velvet in purple for the main (pun intended) body of the horse with the purple sequin velour used around the horses ankles. The riders then used the plain crushed velvet for their hats and the purple sequin velour for their cloaks. The team looked fantastic and we know they put in a lot of hard work to make it all come together. Well done from The Fabric Centre!

When Shaun Newman Guitars got in touch with The Fabric Centre for some crushed velvet for a Gothic harp case we were intrigued to see the finished product. We have had our crushed velvet line many guitar cases in the past but never a Gothic harp case !

Shaun Newman make handmade guitars and other stringed instruments. The harp was hand made by Shaun for his daughter and finding a case for it proved to be difficult and expensive so he decided to build the case too. It's made from 4 mm plywood with pine side and ends. The lining is foam rubber covered in our gorgeous purple crushed velvet.
