So, to finish up pitcher day, here's that cocaine ad ;)
There are also ads for Heroin, a trademark of German Bayer Co.,
same as Aspirin...
To think they were very advanced at the end of the 19th Century,
much more than 30 years before. La Belle Epoque.
They had developed lots of good stuff, they knew about infections etc...
they thought they got it made, that they owned the future.
A lot like we do...  no wait.
We thought like that in 2000, Y2K - we now dream of fracking.
They got that war in 1914...
