Hint, Tips & Tricks  -

Anyone suffering from lack of interaction (primarily comments), think about removing the website field from the comment form, it worked for me and I wrote a #plugin for it (hosted on WordPress)

Finally I found how to use mdash and n dashes in WordPress.

There is a function wptexturize that turn any 2 hyphens into an ndash and any 3 hyphens to mdash. So if you need one of these in your post - an trust me you need them because that makes your article more understandable - all you have to do is to write 2 or 3 consecutive hyphens.

I kinda hate that wptexturize() function after all, it makes it difficult for me - as a coder - to include javascript code into my posts and here is why:
The function also replaces && (logical and) by html entities which makes my code buggy, I found a workaround though,  I replace :
>  if (A && BB)
with
>  if (!(!A || !B))

I'm sorry, this is life.

From my experience, yes,  because many people don't understand  what a red asterisk means and just don't post the comment when they see they can fill that field.
