No more harm to sharks

Salford University scientists found an easy and non-costly method to study sharks - take a seawater sample to track the predators. Like any other animals, sharks leave their DNA samples everywhere they swim and water keeps this information for several days (2 weeks max) before it is destroyed by UV.

Dolphin as your best partner in crime

If you are a fisherman from Laguna, Brazil and hunt for your own - you’re doing something totally wrong. Local bottlenose dolphins have learnt to force fish to the fishermen nets and after giving a signal to the partner, keep their mouth open to have a lunch with the ones untrapped. Everybody is happy =)

Great news for divers planning their trip to Oman: 470 fish species of Arabian Gulf, Gulf of Oman and Arabian Sea are in one place now - Oman Fish ID app. You can easily find a fish by colour or shape and save it in a logbook. New Rules To Enter Palau

Palau, the tropical heaven in the Pacific Ocean, with its Rock Islands Southern Lagoon listed in the UNESCO world heritage list, calls for human responsibility.

All International visitors are now required to sign an official promise not to harm the country’s environment before crossing the border.

The government hopes that the new approach will raise world’s awareness of the human impact responsibility.
