GOOGLE GLASS IS BACK! (On the FCC website, at least)
It's possible to extract the source images out of the FCC PDFs, and I did that, so the pictures here are pretty high-res. (like 1600 x 900) They're big enough to read text on the chips and identify things!
There's a hinge!
The prism is bigger
The camera has a recording light
The charger looks like pogo pins + magnets (like MagSafe on a MacBook)
The power button is supposedly "on the back," but it's not pictured.
The touchpad and eye sensors are back.
Where the heck is the camera button? Is it on the hinge?!
What's the deal with the speaker? There's no bone conduction pad, but there looks to be a speaker in about the same spot internally. There's a slot on the bottom side of the case, but that would funnel sound behind your ear, not into it. I guess that would work...
I wonder about that prism. The "glass" (is it really glass?) is longer, but a longer prism wouldn't make the square display area, (the dark part) any bigger—it would also need to be taller. Is the picture truly bigger or does it just move it more into the center of your vision?
