The room is great. We have a good view of the ocean and we actually have a decent kitchen area with a 3/4 fridge and stove and microwave. The only thing that isn't fantastic is the bed. It's waaaaay overly springy which is terrible when you toss and turn at night and scare yourself/honey awake. The lazy river is way small too. I thought it would circle the entire hotel. It's basically a small pool with jets in it. It was fun for a little while. I think 90% of the guests have children, so it's not an adult oasis. But you can't beat this view.

They didn't supply towels or toilet paper for the week. They provided one TP and 3 towels and stated that's all you get. If you plan to do an web surfing, forget it. The internet constantly disconnects, and if you movie your device, it will disconnect. If it stays on its extremely slow. The room is highly outdated. 32 inch tv that I had to program to work when arriving, is extremely small for the room size. The only beneficially thing with this stay was room was large and on beach. The pool was over run by children everyday at every hour. even though there was a kiddy area, it did not limit them. We arrived to extremely dirty and nasty sheets and towels that took hours to replace. Each night, someone reported there car being broke into. Also the little snack shack by the pool is absolutely pitiful. waited 30 minutes for slice of pizza and wrap to which it never came. long process of getting money back. The parking garage was a nightmare as it is tight and small. The elevators are always small and slow for a "resort" Overall you might save money wise with this stay but paying more is much more worth it for the service you will want. I would not recommended this "resort" to anyone.

Location is 10 min from board walk. The lobby is seperate from all the other buildings and across the st. The parking garages are tight fits. Everything is accessible only by outside. Elevators are old and have no air conditioning. There are only 4 and go very slow. Everything needs an update. The interior of the room was nicely laid out but out dated decor. Ocean view balcony is amazing as the other amenities. The equipment supplied in the kitchen was amazing. It was a fully functioning kitchen. All of the staff were nice and very helpful although it took 30 min to check in because of the line.

Well, I was at the front desk getting information from a young girl named Corey I beleive. She was really kind and caring while she helped us make some really important decisions while time was of the essence. Thank you.

We stayed in an Ocean Front Room. The room consists of 2 queen size beds in the first room with a kitchen connecting to a livingroom. The living area has access to the balcony along with couch, chair, dining table and end tables. To top it off there is a Murphy bed that pulls down from the wall with the same style mattress as the normal beds in the other room. Pros: Perfect room for parents and kids. We have two young children one 4 the other 6. We let them each have their own bed in the double Queen room and we used the pull out Murphy bed in the livingroom. This gave us plenty of evening time to hangout and have fun while the kids were in the other room asleep. This was actually the best part and worked out great. Cons: The parking deck is a nightmare. It's very cramped and poorly designed. If you come back to your room late expect to park on the other side of the street in their overflow deck. Elevators are also a nightmare. You will always find a line waiting to ride them and expect to wait for around 10 mins total just to get to the bottom floor. The pool is mostly packed to capacity during the day but is more manageable in the evening. Overall it was a perfect setup for me and my wife and we will defiantly be back.

Rm 1703 was terrible, leaky a/c units and damp smell, bad for my allergies. Put l parking is a tight fit, elevators are slow, humid and sneaks nasty. We payed 230 a night and want even worth half. I don't recommend

Ice machines on several floors not working , at various times of the day. Parking options are horrible. Restaurant attached to hotel, food was horrid. People will pay good money for good food . Allowing people to reserve poolside chairs with towels at 9 am only to not return till after lunch is ridiculous. It was nice to have entertainment by the pool, but if you're gonna have ever a dj, at least get one who is active stands up and does his job. Not one soul was grooving head bobbing or anything. It would take alot for me to come back. The rooms were nice however beds were horribly hard.

Because I live in NC, I have traveled to Myrtle Beach since I was a kid. Now that I am in my 30's, I can tell you that I have stayed in lots of different hotels and Caravelle was a big disappointment. First off, the main parking deck was absolutely horrible! In order to get out of the deck when it's full, which it was, they have one designated spot to pull in to, in order to pull out of the deck. With the busy Holiday weekend, there were 3 cars behind us, and 1 in front of us, and it caused a disaster in the parking deck! So you may just need to park in the overflow deck. Now onto the room.. we had the 2 queen beds and a pull down bed, and needed extra pillows and a blanket. They were out of both blankets and pillows for every single night we were there and when we requested extra towels, they told us we had to go get them from the front desk. And by the way, the Front Desk is in the other building across the street! No front desk in our building. Also, when we had to get ice, there were signs with arrows and when when we got to the "ice machine", nothing was there. Another person staying at the hotel told us there were some on the 10th floor...Next, the second day, they didn't give us towels and told us that housekeeping would bring it up..which they never did, therefore we had to go across the street to grab them.. Then the following day, we left to get breakfast and go shopping, and returned around 3 pm, and Housekeeping had not even entered our rooms... and these are just a few of the things that we had to deal with during our stay. I do recommend that if you are like me, and prefer 3-Star Hotels, this would be a last resort to stay in compared to the other 3-star hotels in Myrtle Beach.
