Yes I will tell you a few things I learned from them. 1. They just want your money!!! 2. The salesman tell you that they don't make commission. That is a total lie in the face. They actually do! So they are trying to get in your pocket. 3. They use sales tactics. Go to an open house if you want, I wouldn't waste my time but be my guest. A) They will sit you to wait in the front when you get there while they prepare their PITCH!! Everyone is introduced with the same PITCH. The salesman are pretty much robots trained to brainwash you to make a decision today. You don't have to really, there is a undercover story in NY they did and the guy went twice even though they told him he could never come back to JOIN! B) When you are waiting you are not aloud to see anything they actually have because they DONT want you to see the prices. A lot of the electronics you don't save a dime. I bought a camcorder that was $200 cheaper than their and it was YES THE SAME EXACT MODEL NUMBER. If you ask to see something they ask you if you know the exact model number so you can't be right if the item you saw was cheaper than theirs. etc.... 4. It cost $4000 plus to join for three years then you have to pay about 160 a year after that to stay a member even if you don't use the membership. 5. The staff is very nice the first time you go there, after that they are a bunch of unprofessional people. The customer service is designed to make them right not you. 6. The lady owner is FAKE!!!! AND ONLY ACTS NICE TO GET YOUR MONEY. 7. The guy owner they are a couple will walk around when they are trying to convince to "join the club" making sure the salesman are not ruining the sale...WATCH YOUR BACK, HE WILL GET BEHIND YOU TO TELL THE SALESMAN WHAT HE IS DOING WRONG OR CALL HIM OVER TO YELL AT HIM. 8. They will make you sit on one side of the table on purpose, make you fill a survey so you sell yourself, ask you stupid questions so you convince yourself, pretty much use old school sales pitches that anyone that is common sense enough will get. 9. If you don't act like they want you to act they will kick you out...I believe this is DISCRIMINATION they believe that their customers are a certain type and if they don't look like their typical customer you have to leave. 10. Try to get up and look around the catalogs and see what happens. I will let you find out on your own, IF YOU DECIDE TO GO. 11. They tell you not to bring your kids so you are not distracted, but they do keep theirs all day long in this place, how unfair isn't?

Worst place to buy from ever. The experience with the salesperson was horrible. I would never buy anything ever again from Value City of TOLEDO ever. First of all they were suppose to deliver the couch by May 12 2011 and they didn't, after I had told the salesperson that we needed the couch by that date. Yes I was very disappointed, but I let it go and didn't cancel. They promised that by the 26th of May it would arrive, but they called about 2-3 before the date to say that it wouldn't be available by then. Instead they said that we'd have to wait until June 20th or something around that date. At that moment I had to cancel. Even though I paid cash for this product they would not return my money until a week later. Now it has been a week and I haven't received any money back in cash or check as they said it would be returned. Worst experience ever I would never do business with these people. NEITHER SHOULD ANYONE. WHAT A SCAM!!!!
