Lovely little stop-motion animation of steam-punk fish.

Several people have recommended G+ as a way of sharing photos, so I'm posting to here and Flickr while I decide which I prefer. This way does feel more like spamming, though.

Heh. They're on their way. I have some older photos that I wanted to go through first.

You can look at them - right click, Show Package Contents. Not very obvious, but not magic either. ;)

Poignant and magnificent.

The best science video you'll see all year. Every single one of the 135 Shuttle missions, in order, set to music. This is Adam Rutherford's love letter to the shuttle, and it's beautiful.

I dare you not to feel a palpable sense of achievement as one shuttle after another launches into space, or rending sorrow at the sight of an exploding Challenger.

This took a year to make. It'll take you 8 minutes to watch. You should do that.

Awesome. Especially with 65daysofstatic as the soundtrack.

Global fish stocks are in a worrying state - the number of fish in the Atlantic has dropped to a tiny fraction of what it was a century ago. http://www.whichfish.org lists the fish that are under threat and those that are actually sustainable to help you choose which to buy.
David Stark - Zarkonnen. 2011-07-13: whichfish.org. whichfish.org. whichfish.org is a website I've just launched that helps you easily tell which fish are sustainable to eat. Why? Well... Source: ...

The temple restaurant is open to the public and serves really good, fresh, vegetarian Chinese food, accompanied by an endless supply of tea. They might give you a short spiel and some leaflets on the temple if you're in a large group (and a quick tour if you're interested).
