I have been hearing it said that Michael Fabricant, who tweeted that he wanted to punch me in the throat, was only joking. I don’t see it as a joke.

I like this video on starting a fire - survival the best. The use of natural resources is priceless. The photography and close ups are great and show you clearly how to lite a fire.

People should only work for four days a week to reduce their stress levels, allow them to take more exercise and see their families, one of Britain’s leading public health doctors has said.

Britain's spies tried to block intelligence from reaching Tony Blair, following publication of the "dodgy dossier" in the run-up to the 2003 invasion of Iraq, according to a forthcoming book. A former senior intelligence officer, who worked with the then prime minister, said officials did not think "raw" intelligence was "good for him", because Mr Blair was not interested in any information "unless it conformed with his world view".

Easy to locate, nice exterior, interior has to be seen to be believed. The food is lovely and and will be liked by those tired of spicy food of Indian Restaurants. The dishes were very tasty and all items were authentic. I have enjoyed all of my visits there.

Punitha's is one of those rare things- an Indian restaurant with genuine Indian food. It is even rarer as it is one of the few I am aware of that serve South Indian food. I aware of another restaurant called Madras Corner which also serves South Indian cuisine but in my opinion Punitha's is better. The main restaurant is well decorated with clean floors walls and tables but unfortunately has blue lights every where which in my opinion makes things look dull inside. Adjacent to the restaurant there is a cheaper Take away/ simple cafe like arrangement. It is most tastefully done with large photo posters of South Indian cities and their way of life. It is the same food but at a cheaper price. I like to eat there often. I have never had problems with the service and I feel that the service is good with the staff polite and always greet me with a smile. I have chosen to describe the food last. It is genuinely South Indian cuisine at its best. There is some straying of some dishes but that can happen to keep the variety going. I like the fact you can have a traditional thali starting from £5 although I feel they could add a little serving of yoghurt with it. They could serve smaller papads ( poppadoms). This is the best bit- I have always been fond of Biryaani. This is the only place in Cardiff that makes a proper Biryaani the second being Madras corner. It isn't Traditional Hyderabaadi style but it is the closest to the genuine item as you will ever get. If you like genuine South Indian or want to try something different pop in.

Easy to find. Ample parking space with lawns and a nice outdoor garden adjacent to green fields. The pub has a good lively but decent atmosphere typical of Thornhill. The bar staff are friendly and always great you with a smile and a willingness to serve. The chef is good and the meals are lovely, delicious with large portions. The prices are moderate. A place where the whole family can enjoy.
