Published in 1982 in the PCPI publication, Learning Together II, this article explores how educators and parents struggle to protect and promote play in the early years. It is interesting to see how this was being discussed then much as it is now. Take a look and then go out and play!

Members share their stories of how they each became involved in cooperatives...

"When I moved to a new community with three young children, my neighbour told me about Kiddies' Korner Parent Participation Preschool in our area. My second daughter was then enrolled and then two years later, a position for the 2 day (3 year old) program became available and I applied and got the position. My youngest daughter was in my first class and I have now been at the preschool for 34 years.

I love every single day and in many ways, the children have helped me through the challenges in my personal life."

This is my story. This is our story. We are stronger together.
