Some awesome learnings from Steve Garrity for early entrepreneurs: "Your customer may not always be right but your customer's PROBLEM is always right". "I write more code in a week at my startup than I did in a month at Microsoft but it was great learning to be at a big company at the beginning of my career"... and a lot more.
Looking for PMs, APMs and Engineers for my healthcare analytics startup LeanTaaS (we just raised a decent sized round of funding). We work with large providers like Stanford Healthcare, UCSF, New York Presbyterian, Memorial Sloan Kettering, Sutter Health, Wake Forest and a few dozen other hospitals around the country helping them see more patients at lower wait times and cost using data science and machine learning.
A common challenge with healthcare in general, and cancer care in particular, is the peaks and valleys in patient appointment scheduling, which often results in inefficient use of scarce and expensive resources, unpredictable wait times for patients and overtime hours for staff.
We love going to Dr. Quo's clinic - the staff is professional, courteous and experienced with kids. Not sure what I'd suggest by way of improvement, except perhaps a way to lower the cost on the replacements we sometimes need (my daughter lost a retainer, then the plastic broke off). Would recommend to anyone looking to get their kids' dental work done.
