How student loan servicing is an awful lot like mortgage servicing. 
Servicers have misapplied payments, given borrowers bad advice, and reported incorrect information to credit bureaus, according one of the new reports from the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau. 

Sound like mortgages? Nah. Student loans.
