This place was great! The setting inside the restaurant is set up like your eating in a fancy family kitchen/dining area. The service was friendly and pretty quick. The food was absolutely DELICIOUS; by far one of the best meals I've ever eaten. Highly recommend eating at this place.

Whereas most nice restaurants try to wow you with their sophistication and style, Henrietta's Table seems content to draw you in and set you at ease. The food is home style New England, which is to say simple and delicious: a wedge salad, pot roast, salmon, and apple pie were what I shared for dinner with my partner. The decor reminded me of friend's beautiful country house, and the waitstaff were impressively attentive and mannered. While Henrietta's Table is an excellent restaurant, it's elegantly plain decor and fare work against the experience of eating out. Much was good, but little was interesting.

Loved this place! It is such a fun atmosphere, a bit loud but that is part of the charm. The food was delicious, as were the cocktails. The waitstaff was attentive , but not overbearing.

The bread service is great, you get to try three types of seasonal choices, which were all delicious, especially the cranberry nut variety. I had the pot roast which was simple but tasty, but only included meat and potatoes. Some of my friends ordered the salmon which wasn't paired with anything else; just a piece of fish on a plate - that's it. If you wanted a side, you'd have to pay an additional $5. It was a very busy restaurant, but they were able to accommodate a table of 11 rowers, which was greatly appreciated the night before a big race. The wait staff was extremely attentive...I never had an empty glass of water.

I ordered the corn chowder, and the salmon. Both were absolutely delicious, the mashed potatoes were especially good. However, my friend ordered chicken from the kids menu, and a ginger ale, our waiter forgot about both, and in the end the chicken was to cooked. As a dessert we had the Boston Cream Pie, which was soooo delicious. Very Very Good!

I had been to the restaurant years ago and had good memories, but recently went and had a very poor meal with poor service. The server wasn't willing to make any changes and said he'd have to check with the chef for every request (including making a scrambled egg vs. a baked egg). The food was hot and tasted fresh but with little flavor and the lobster roll was soaked in mayo, which is not how I prefer it.
