Time to get rid of some games I'm not playing and clear some shelf space. Make me an offer if you see something you like.  I have a lot of other old games that I'll be letting go soon, so if there is a particular game you're looking for, let me know.

I prefer Paypal, and buyer pays shipping. I also prefer to ship to the Continental US by USPS Priority to keep things simple. If you live elsewhere, I may be able to ship there, but it could get expensive.

Here's what I have for now:

Luftwaffe - AH
Punched, square counters clipped
Complete
Some shelf wear

The Alamo - Decision Games
Punched and clipped
Complete

Scotland the Brave - Avalanche Press

Blitzkrieg General - UGG

Car Wars Deluxe Edition - Steve Jackson Games

Minor shelf wear, minor dishing on top of box

Trireme - Avalon Hill
1 printed replacement counter

One corner split on box top, some shelf wear

Defense of Rorke's Drift - 3W

Inspirational Reading - Part 7
Time to continue looking at sources for Inspirational Reading for games. This time I start looking at the individual authors listed in Appendix N. Poul Anderson is listed first, and there are three specific novels mentioned. Anderson is probably best known ...

First 5E session
Tonight I ran a quick D&D session using the new rules and the adventure from the Starter set. It was a short session, and we only got through one encounter and a little follow-up. We had to look up a lot of details as we played, so that slowed us down. All ...

We did the save once a round. We had two characters hanging on death's door with two strikes each at one point, but all of them recovered with some healing.

Putting my All Quiet on the Martian Front minis together. Next step is all the metal. Then it's time to break out the airbrush.

Kurt Vonnegut and why I keep working on things I will never get to play
Vonnegut mural in Indianapolis After growing up in Indianapolis, I have a particular fascination with things that are related in some way to my hometown. Not the least, of course, is Kurt Vonnegut, the onetime Hoosier that fled the state and became one of i...

March Madness OSR Challenge
So, there's another blog hop challenge going on and my feed is full of posts about these questions every day again. I like some of these challenges because they do give me a chance to reflect and think about my gaming history and tastes. Unfortunately, I do...

Back online
The last half of this year has been an adventure. Lots of personal stuff has gotten in the way of me posting anything. I moved from Palo Alto to Long Beach in September, and I haven't had an internet connection at home since the move. That has meant a lot o...

Started the day painting minis. Then I worked on some terrain a bit. Spent the afternoon running my second session of 5E D&D. Then sorted through some old hex-and-counter wargames to decide which one to get out on the table tonight. I think I have celebrated Gygax's birthday about as well as possible.

Another try
I've been neglecting the blog for the last few months, mostly because I haven't really had a lot of energy for it. Some of that is because I haven't been able to find any people to game with locally. Most of it is that I have been getting dragged down by re...

The past couple of weeks I haven't done much painting. I've been working too much on other projects when I haven't been buried in the day job. So today is a bit of catch-up on painting projects. I'm working on finishing the not-so-fast speed painting on my skaven, painting some old Heritage and ...

Inspirational Reading - Part 6
This time around, I want to look at the introduction to Appendix N in the Dungeon Masters Guide and see what else we can add to the list. The introduction discusses a bit of how Gary came to his list here and also suggests several more sources for inspirati...
