My fear is that a reduction of corporate buying power will just open a power vacuum for other forms of corruption that will be even more pernicious. For example, at the state and local levels public employee union power is already more distorting than corporate buying power. Hence Vallejo's bankruptcy with San Jose, among other California municipalities, headed for bankruptcy as well.
