I am not here to promote, sell, advise or brainwash you. I simply am...
While in G+ land I am usually comfortable dabbling in banter about alternatives to mainstream/government managed *health care* treatments, overall body *wellness*/care/maintenance, *spirituality*/morality/*ethics* and "secret" *recipes* for all sorts of interesting things. Not so secret once we start discussing them!
I am usually more interested in taking in information, and engaging in conversations started by others, than I am in sharing information and beginning conversations. Aka I comment more than I post... _Although when notifications get fubared that tends to get reversed so I can maintain a presence in threads_
You will not see my circles for several reasons, my privacy; other's
right to privacy and because I believe in quality, not quantity.
Expect sporadic updates, punctuated by periods of inactivity. As in, I do not have this account connected to a smartphone so if I haven't responded to your message in the most timely manner, please do not assume I am ignoring you.
Since you are still reading, here's my chance to stand on a *soapbox* for a second. At times I aim to provide more opportunity for informed opinions. The vast majority of Google+ seems quite enamored with "real" names and pictures. *What is real anyways?* That I'm sure we could banter about in a thread, although for now I'll just show my support for people like Meirav Berale and say not all nom de plumes result in a degradation of comments and discussion... A lot more insight on this topic can be found at: http://geekfeminism.wikia.com/wiki/Who_is_harmed_by_a_%22Real_Names%22_policy%3F
I am now involved in a creative *writing* project and exploring the process of self publishing...
I post public sometimes to say hi on neutralish threads... then bump people up the ladder of trust in various directions, depending on your tolerance for profanity, artistic nudity, meaningly spiritual/religious discussions, "citation needed" health/wellness related discussions, and putting up with my whining about Earl... Earl can be a bit of a dick some days, but I still love 'em ;-)
