"The key here is the target audience. It is important to note that what you and I may consider brash and off-putting may be perceived by other people as self-assured and confident."

I have arranged an initial launch in Keynsham where I now live, but I will be willing to come up north or down south - wherever you are if you would like me to come your venue. (Africa, America or Australia might be a bit far at this stage(!) but you still from outlets book in the USA or Australia at local prices, or, of course get it electronically.)

You are all welcome to:
Victoria Methodist Church, Keynsham High Street
Saturday, 4th April (Easter Eve)
12 noon - 2 pm.
Free lunchtime refreshments and tea, coffee and soft-drink.

Both Ultimate Justice and The Kicking Tree on sale.

Books signed by the author.

Trevor Stubbs will read from Ultimate Justice.

Charity raffle for South Sudan Street Children.
The Kicking Tree has been reviewed by Church Times:
"an updated Pilgrim’s Progress, where narrative drive is more important than the creation of characters. It could be a perfect book for the adult-literacy teacher trying to encourage teens to read, with its strong narrative structure, simple vocabulary, and positive, active role-models. There are all too few authors who write well for this market, and Stubbs is one of them."

Please pray urgent for the people of Maridi, South Sudan and especially Trisha Wick and her missionary colleagues who have been advised to  evacuate. This is sad spread of the conflict to Western Equatoria.

Fantastic day at Good Books Bridport. Thanks to Jo O'Farrell to organising it and others who staffed the shop. We need to make sure we use Good Books - use it or , lose the services they offer. Very important for more than a few services.

"The Kicking Tree" is officially published this week. It's available as an ebook or in paperback.

Thanks to all those who have contributed in any way to it's production:
- Those who encouraged, read and gave advice as well as the whole team at Troubador who ensured its successful launch.
- Thanks to those who have already read it and are passing on the news.
- Finally thanks to the people have so inspired me down the years that has led to my taking up the pen.

The novel is dedicated to all those who, for any reason, have never had an adventure. I pray that if you are prevented, contrained or trapped you may know a freedom of spirit enabled by God's Spirit.
My wish is that this story will point to hope in a dark world and will, in the end, make you smile.
