A few years ago, two childhood friends opened a seasonal restaurant out East called Moby’s. Partners Nick Hatsatouris and Lincoln Pilcher spent just a few weeks building-out a pop up, perched on the marina docks of Montauk where fresh seafood was caught and served daily. Today, the success of this concept has seen their first East Hamptons restaurant open its doors. Once again, Hatsatouris and Pilcher bring their seaside oasis to downtown Manhattan in the form of Gilligan’s at Soho Grand.
This summer marks the return of this oceanesque pop-up eatery, which offers guests and locals alike a focused, ingredient-driven menu that includes crudos, salads, crab pastas, grilled whole fish, and produce sourced from the best farms on Long Island. Thirsts will be quenched with market fresh cocktails. Synonymous with summer, spicy dark & stormys and frozen watermelon margaritas sit alongside a select menu of wine and beer.
