This DB Gym has the perfect blend of strength, cardio and free weights to allow for any type of workout you would like. Those in need of an instructor led class are free to sign up for a variety of options throughout the week. In addition, the top floor studio is open to allow for individual workouts outside of class times. Club amenities range from towels to showers, saunas, secured lockers, personal trainers and even a massage room. The music can be a little loud at times, but it serves to get the customers in an upbeat mood to workout.

Beautiful inside and out. It is an inspiring place to spend your "you" time. Nice people, time efficient for your city-paced living. It's a fun labyrinth inside. Keeps working out interesting. Mike is a good sales rep to go with. Upkeep of equipment is excellent. Selection of cardio equipment with real-life trails available; this is one of the coolest features. All toiletry amenities were available, Including hair gel from a large dispenser bottle. I'm looking forward to spending more time there.

They only have a steam room in the men's room. Why do I pay the same price as a man and I don't get the same perks?

Easily the most beautiful gym I've ever seen in my life. Well equipped for everything short of olympic lifting, too.

The David Barton people made smart use of the upper half of an old church that was converted to a discotheque and now a gym. Every kind of equipment you can think of is available in the unusual space, a series of rooms, corridors and staircases spanning the upper half of the building, with neo-Gothic columns and stained glass windows still in place.

Like a gazillion times better than astor place hospitality is so nice and good eye candy lol no offense to anyone. The gym is a bit ea though. Front desk staff could be friendlier. As for the facility itself is nice private and luxurious in every way. From the lockless lockers to the equipment

Honestly had the worst gym experience of my life! My friend and I went to NY on vacation and decided to go to the David Barton Gym. Needless to say as soon as I walked in my friend and I started noticing a female employee acting rudely towards some of the customers, My friend and I watched her roll her eyes at THREE different people. Finally having enough I asked another employee what the girls name was and she told me it was Hallie. She acted very arrogant and rude. Not the right way make a good first impression. We was appalled by this young lady's actions. I was very disappointed. Who would hire someone like that? Especially when everything is so expensive.
