Turkey, ham (glaze from scratch), green bean casserole and candied yams (also from scratch). Can't take credit for the good old box stuffing though. I'm going to say my first Christmas dinner was fairly successful! :- ) Hope all my G+ friends had just a good of a time! <3

Standing in line for a few minutes is a wee price to pay to (supposedly) have a voice in this country... So I'm doing it! If you're registered, get out and vote!

The Boca Beach Club was one of my favorite facilities while staying at the Boca Resort. Myself and a friend were able to lounge pool or beach side on a whim, thanks to the fantastic employees that work around the clock to make sure spaces are readily available for your use. After relaxing, we had a variety of dining options to choose from but frequented the SeaGrille restaurant, which overlooked the ocean. I highly recommend a stay at the resort and a visit to the beach club!

Shortfield's is a local favorite due to the friendly atmosphere, great service, and fresh food! I've been to Shortfield's on several occasions and have never left disappointed. Their menu includes typical bar food as well as their more upscale signature entrees and specials. While a little small inside, the restaurant opened up their outside sitting area equipped with lounge seats (great if you're looking to relax with a beverage from their full bar), flat screen tv's and heaters for the winter time. It is also the perfect pit stop if you are biking the Swamp Rabbit Trail in Travelers Rest!

The store is always clean and well-organized. In addition, the staff is always very friendly and helpful. For a neighborhood market (as opposed to the super center), it meets a lot of household needs which is very convenient! Most items are also cheaper than Publix.

Concierge: Relatively pleasant, but it was observed that not all guests received the same service in terms of demeanor. In the hospitality industry, it is important to regard each hotel guest with the same esteem regardless of what they may look like. Lobby/Atrium: Large, open and stunning. Beautiful conference rooms and lounge areas. There is a bar located inside for your convenience and the hotel itself is adjacent to many great restaurants and retail establishments. Room: Generally, clean but could have used some dusting around the flat screen. To add to the flat screen, there was no remote available in my room. The room was slightly dated (techies, no USB plugin box) but a good size. The room I stayed in didn't have a microwave or fridge but a beautiful view of the atrium. The bathroom was modernized but a bit cramped. Comfort: Comfortable beds, but for having a late checkout, the room service gets started early and loudly. I was really looking forward to some peace and quiet in the morning bit it didn't happen. Overall it was a decent experience, but I did prefer my stay at the Hampton Inn and Suites right near Falls Park in downtown Greenville a week ago. It didn't have as many amenities but better service, I thought, and certainly much quieter.

I have been very pleased with the care and professionalism of my physician (Dr. S) and the medical staff; however, the front desk employees have been rude on several occasions. It is also very difficult to reach anyone at the office over the phone (i.e. phone system is down or the phones ring and ring with no answer). Wait times are also quite a bit longer than other offices in the North Greenville area. Again, my biggest issue is the lack of professionalism from the front office staff. I work in customer service with a large volume of people on a daily basis and there is never a time where it is acceptable to be rude to your clients. Especially at a doctors office where people are already feeling run down. I was willing to drive from my new home in Greer to this office for my primary physician, but working with people that have terrible attitudes is not worth it anymore.

I was very pleased with the service I received today (7/7/16). Instead of going through a middle-man like FTD, 1-800-Flowers, TeleFlora, etc., I decided to work directly with English Gardens over the phone to place my order. The person I spoke with (I believe she was the designer) was very pleasant and attentive to what I wanted the arrangement to look like and how much I was willing to spend. When I called to place my same-day delivery order, it was late morning; however, the shop managed to get the arrangement out within a couple of hours. My friend (the recipient of the flowers) LOVED the arrangement. She sent me photos and I too was very impressed by the quality of the flowers and how beautiful the design was. I had simply asked for white lilies, roses and some greenery and I got that plus more (snapdragons, bells of Ireland, curly willow,)! The vase even had a little bling on it! :-) Thank you, English Gardens! Also, word to the wise: If you don't want to be disappointed with the arrangements not being what you ordered, please work directly with local florists. The middle-man sites can be helpful if you are trying to get flowers to someone who is out of state, but you may not always get what is pictured on the site. The florists can tell you what they have available which is what English Gardens did for me.

There are very few technicians at this establishment who do an exceptional job with manicures and/or pedicures. The last two times I have visited, the technicians worked very quickly and carelessly, especially on my hands -- leaving me with poorly filed nails, several hangnails and even tips that were not fully painted. When I politely asked my technician (male) to remove some of the hang nails that were left, my request was met with attitude and more careless work. Luckily, the technicians who worked on my stepdaughter worked well on both her hands and feet. After visiting on three separate occasions and being dissatisfied with the last two services, I will not be back.
