Reconstructing this 1812 Brick Powderhouse in Harvard Ma. The structure was struck by a vehicle and displaced from it's foundation in October 2013. I'll be reproducing the original using the original exterior brick and replacing the disintegrating soft brick on the inner wythe with newly manufactured Morin Red Restoration brick. After shoring the structure inside and out my friend Rich Silveria pulled the roof with a Lull. I've set the scaffold and begun the arduous process of dismantling and cleaning 2500+ brick for reuse.
Next up..... Getting started rebuilding a large center chimney in an 18th century colonial in Shirley MA. This will be a historic reproduction (nothing fancy) keeping the same exterior details as the existing chimney. I'll be using concrete block in the attic to save the client some money, Morin Red Restoration Brick on the exterior, installing stainless steel chimney liners to service the new boiler and, restoring functionality to one of the six fireplaces.
As contractor I've been using D & D for the removal of construction debris since 2008. The drop offs and pick ups are always timely and as agreed upon. The drivers have always been careful and conscientious of the homeowners property and have made every effort to place the dumpsters where I needed them . The prices are great I have yet to find a cheaper service. Try them out!!!
