Best meal the entire Maui trip! I had the French toast with bananas and it was SO tasty. My husband ordered the fried rice and it was the best! It had meats and veggies in it and it was so much food, we took half of it to go and ate it as a picnic lunch later that day while we were sightseeing. We had to wait about 35 minutes but we told everyone waiting as we left "It's well worth the wait!" Such a great meal and such great folks waiting on you! Oh! And we're going back in a few minutes for our second time.

Excellent service and very good food. Portions are very big! Be prepared to wait in line for a table but food comes very quick once seated.

it's nice breakfast nook for those around is okay, servers are friendlier as they are older. it's an experience to have. Their pancakes and fried rice are recommended. I give 4 stars only because there's a long long wait. I have avoided this by lining up close to 7 am; they open at 730am.

First things first, order the fried rice (half order is plenty). The fried rice tastes homemade and is simply delicious. I also had the Popeyes omelette with house potatoes. Both items were prepared fresh, served hot, made with fresh ingredients and tasty. Only con is that there is ALwAYS a line. We didn't wait in line longer than about 40 minutes and we were there during the lunch hour. Also, the restaurant is not visible from the street as it is on the beach in a condo/apartment complex.

I've been frequenting this place since before I can remember (I'd say before I could swim at the adjacent Napili Bay, but I'm not sure that's true as I've also been swimming before I can remember). Back in the hanabata days, before I lived on Maui, before I even knew what hanabata was, my parents would round up my siblings and me and trek along the coast to The Gazebo for breakfast. Back then, The Gazebo was a magical place. Located poolside* at Napili Shores, we were able to play GIANT checkers (where the checkers pieces where dehusked coconut shells are used for the game pieces) as well as marvel over what kind of revelry the shuffleboard court could be used for (the shuffles were never left out for us to use). Dining at The Gazebo was equally magical. The place offers a panoramic view. When the weather is nice, the glass louver windows would the ocean breeze waft through the restaurant, delivering the smell bacon, Portuguese sausage, and pancakes with their macadamia nut cream sauce through the establishment (as well as letting sparrows and mynah birds in, which I thought, at least back then, was pretty cool). It was the mac nut pancakes that got me to like macadamia nuts. Peering through the window in the kitchen, there was a line chef who looked like the spitting image of Mr. Clean. How awesome was that!? Despite Mr. Clean having moved on, not only has The Gazebo stood the test of time, but it retains a lot of its magic. I'm not sure if the shuffleboard court is still there (I can guarantee you that, if it is, the shuffles are still locked away) but giant checkers are still outside. The views are spectacular and the breakfasts are exactly how they used to be. Formerly a hidden gem, nowadays you've got to go early unless you want to contend with an hour-or-so wait in line. Even so, there are worse places to be standing in line. *Napili Shores is one of those old school beachfront vacation properties that believes, when you are on Maui, you should be in the ocean, not in the pool. As such, poolside at Napili Shores doesn't have the same level of pretentiousness that "poolside" may conjure up.

Be ready to wait in line for 25-35 minutes...but it is well worth the wait! The Mac Nut Pancakes and the Fried Rice were both off the charts. A+
