DuckTales. Real ducks. I think I speak for everyone when I say, "[collapses into cutestolgia overload coma]." And/or "woo-ooo."

This is an excellent read on the mindset of those who rail against talking about feminism in relation to games.
An old angry white male nerd looks with sadness at young angry white male nerds.

An article detailing why Scrooge McDuck is the most American comic book character ever? Yes, please!
For this Independence Day, Chris Sims explains why the quintessentially American comic book character isn't Superman or Captain America, but Scrooge McDuck.

Here they are! My five anime picks for this season!
There are 60 new anime on the air this spring season and so it can be understandably more than a little difficult to know which ones to watch. Luckily, we at Kotaku East are here to help with our recommendations.

"Brony" is the nickname given to the adult (mostly male) fans of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Their community—which is large, voracious and one of the most widely-ridiculed fan collectives this side of Equestria—gathers annually in a convention center to celebrate their enthusiasm for friendship tolerance and MLP. This year, I joined them.

Man, I am so happy I read this in public surrounded by people mid day. ..still gonna probably have nightmares.
Despite the fact that this weekend is all about FREEDOM and FIREWORKS and ASKING PEOPLE TO HOLD YOUR BEER WHILE YOU DO SOMETHING STUPID, a story that's been blowing up all over Reddit will make you think that what we're really heading into is halloween. Because it's so creepy, it will make you lose sleep.

I like that John Oliver's humor is so self deprecating.  It makes his guest shine and him hilarious.

Oh Bill Murray
In the video above, you see shape-shifting coyote trickster god Bill Murray walking in on a bachelor party in Charleston, dishing out some advice to everyone EXCEPT the groom. Here's reader Stephen with the background:
