It's unclear just what they've become since I graduated, but things US colleges certainly are not are citadels of free thought or intellectual integrity. Thinner human skins than the ones today on our college campuses I've never witnessed. I'm confident the correctly enlightened insist it's evolution, basking in the delusion the world's on an inevitable collision course with some toothless egalitarian nirvana that to date has never had a single earthly heartbeat anywhere, and never will where and when humans roam. Something sure is none of what these smug kids are so confident is obvious will seem so after they've spent a few decades dancing and dueling with time. Being offended is good for you, like learning to swim is good for you. Embrace it. I'm laughing at you and you're laughing at me when lights are down and backs are turned, anyway. But if not, if instead I happen to be laughing alone because you take yourself and what you think you know so seriously, all that matters is I'm the one laughing, and you're never going to stop me. That's the way the real world spins, kids. Best get used to it.
