I love lasagna house III. I consistently get their eggplant parmesan with rosa sauce on the pasta. The hot bread is the best and the salad dressing is amazing. As of recently the service has declined, servers taking twenty minutes to sit around leaving patrons waterless, breadless, and with no check. The last two times I've gone I was rather shocked how poor the service was. If I can see you sitting by your sidework on your phone while I sit there for unreasonable amounts of time... I will still be coming for food but will probably only do pick up.

I want to inform you of the horrible experience I had at your restaurant last night on 09/29/15. I have come to your restaurant multiple times due to the great service and good food. My husband loves your restaurant for the atmosphere and because we had our first meal as a married couple here in February. Well last night we both wanted Italian. I wanted spaghetti and was tempted to go to Macaroni Grill. My husband recommended we go to your establishment so we could just have a nice dinner. The experience was fine until i noticed that you didn't sell spaghetti. I was told by the very nice waiter that there was an alternative but i had to choose either angel hair or linquine noodles for the spaghetti. i was a little disappointed but figured the sauce is what makes the dish, right?! I requested meat sauce instead of meatballs. When my plate came out I was immediately disturbed by the amount of water that was resting around the noodles. My bowl had water at the bottom, noodles in the middle, and then some weird interpretation of meat sauce. Not only was what i given not meat sauce but I tasted terrible. The just cooked ground beef and sprinkled it on the top of the noodles then poured (what tasted like can product) sauce on the top. The sauce wasn't seasoned at all. Nothing was seasoned. I was going to try and force it down but I only got 2 bites down. My husband order the Ravioli Combo and he also had the terrible red sauce. Also the meat inside his Ravioli was really under cooked. We never give food back at a restaurant, we normally lie and say it was good and just never come back. The food was so terrible that I couldn't lie. It took the waiter forever to come and check on us. He had never asked if the meal was good or ok. I sat there for about 20 minutes before I could get his attention. Once he came to the table I politely informed him that the dish was not good at all. He was very apologetic and offered another selection or something I could take home. I told him I would prefer not to take anything at all. He insisted and stated that the manager would remove the dish from our tab. He took the plate to the manager who was standing at the bar. What made me more upset than the bad food was the behavior of the manager. If the waiter can apologize, the manager who MANAGES the establishment should definitely come and speak to us. I watched him as he removed the item and continued to look at our table. We made eye contact but he never came to the table. The waiter came back to bring the check and apologized again. We paid for the tab and I waited to see if he would even acknowledge us for this horrible experience, nope. As we walked towards the exit, the manager walked away from the front door and went to the back. It was if he was avoiding a confrontation. The only problem is is that I wasn't trying to argue, I just wanted to let him know that the red sauce and both dishes weren't good. A problem your restaurant doesn't normally have. Instead he avoided us. I decided to never ever ever go the the westheimer location again. I will also make sure I place my complaint on yelp and google review for other customers to be aware of this particular location. I am not expecting a hand out, discount, etc. I just want to know that when I sit down to enjoy a dish, it actually taste like the cook and workers care about there job. I definitely will not be coming back.

You'd never know from the cheesy name this is one of the best Italian restaurants in Houston. I've been going here for years and tried just about everything on the menu (and special requested a few that weren't) and have yet to have a bad meal. I actually have only ordered the House Lasagna once. It was really good. But I've also ordered the Vegetarian Lasagna and recommend it highly (I don't always want something with a lot of meat.) Free buttered garlic bread (a nice soft Italian bread) before every meal. Everyone serves their own salad from a big bowl (unless requested otherwise.) I've never tried any of their desserts (I try to avoid dessert when eating out) but have no reason to think they wouldn't be just as good too.

Classic neighborhood Italian spot. Nothing fancy, just solid spaghetti and meatballs, lasagna and pizza. Say hi to Vincent; he's good people.

Co workers and I go there at least twice a, week there on the regular basis ;best lasagna in town by far, the tomato sauce is on point compared to other local restaurants and price is half of what the others charge you in town.

Mediocre food. Not fresh made but not too bad. Service needs some help. Nice environment but could use some updating.
