Apparently Roman Reigns doesnt give a damn about the WWE universe booing him.
#RomanReigns is on top of the +WWE Universe. Whether the fans agree with it or not, everyone is talking about the latest man to win the #RoyalRumble match. People in Philadelphia expressed their displeasure with the decision to have him face #BrockLesnar at #WrestleMania 31. At this point, its Reigns’ spot to lose at WWE’s biggest event.

Reigns spoke to radio host Sam Roberts before the Royal Rumble and addressed the fact that he’s getting “pushed down everyone’s throats” as the company’s next big guy. First, he talked about how he doesn’t care what the fans think because they never cut a promo and never stepped foot inside the squared circle.

“I’m aware of all of these things," Reigns said. "You have to look at it through many different perspectives. For me, as a provider and as a man, I have a responsibility to provide. I can’t look at it like and get down on ‘oh, this is what they’re thinking and this is what they’re saying.’ To be honest I really don’t care. I can only do my thing and do the best that I can. The majority of critics, I would say, are people who have no clue what they’re talking about and have never been in a wrestling ring. They’ve never been a public speaker. They wouldn’t even know how to lock up with me if I allowed them to. If I gave them the opportunity to lock up and tangle with me in the ring, they would have no clue what to do so for them to critique or ever say anything about any performer is asinine and just blows my mind.”

That’s just the beginning of Roman Reigns acting very blunt during his interview with Roberts. This is where it gets very interesting. The WWE’s #1 contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship then told Roberts what he’s really doing at the end of the day.

“It’s one of those situations where obviously the company is gonna do what the company does and the fans are definitely gonna do what they do. That’s what’s so great. The fans have to realize that as opinionated as y’all are in the way you want it, the company is the same way and they’re gonna do what they wanna do… at the end of the day I’m just a guy getting rich," said Reigns.

Roberts asked if he reads the criticism about his promos. He said, “I see all of my criticism. I’m in a position now that I get a ton of love which is great and a ton of criticism which is great. As long as i’m in people’s mouths that’s all that matters to me. As long as people are talking about me.”

Reigns added, "The majority of the time… the people that are critiquing and bashing me, they’re making me more relevant, I would think. If you didn’t want me around then just don’t talk about me and try and make it silent out there. That’s not the case [because] they make it even more overwhelming. You know, noise is noise. That’s the thing."

"I see all my criticism. I'm in a position now where I get a ton of love, which is great, and a ton of criticism, which is great. As long as people are talking about me, that's all that matters to me. The people who are critiquing and bashing me, they're making me more relevant. I would think if you didn't want me around, just don't talk about me. But, they make it even more overwhelming. Noise is noise. That's the thing."
Roman even took a shot at CM Punk's "voice of the voiceless" tagline when talking about his own criticism:
Roberts asked if when he hears the crowd cheering him if it silences the critics. Reigns said, “if it doesn’t it doesn’t bother me. I’m all about being opinionated. I’m all about speaking up for what you like and that’s fine and that’s what we have nowadays which is so great with social media. People can voice their opinion. I don’t believe in CM Punk [saying] ‘i’m the voice of the voiceless.’ That’s crap. People are talking and people are being heard all over the world. People are reading. You pick something up on the internet and people will read it. It doesn’t matter if you’re a famous superstar celebrity or joe schmo doing a 9 to 5 at Starbucks.”

Reigns commented on WWE getting behind him:

"It's one of those situations where obviously the company does what the company does and the fans do what they do. And that's what's so great. So, the fans have to realize as opinionated as you want it, the company is the same way. The company is going to do what they want to do, fans are going to do what they want to do, and hopefully at the end of the day I'm just the guy getting rich."

Reigns also said his goal to to make everyone happy with the product he's presenting. Below are some more quotes:

"My goal is hopefully make everyone happy and be satisfied with the product that I've created. People don't realize is I created a product - a Superman punch - and taken a spear and made it my own. There's a lot of things that I've done that I've created, so there's a lot of opinions that I have that I'm not going to budge on."

"I have to live with my career. And when I'm done, the WWE Universe and the company is going to move on and there's going to be another guy and they're going to keep going, so I'm trying to get everything I can out of this experience possible."

"The majority of critics are people who have no clue what they're talking about, been in a wrestling ring, been a public speaker, and wouldn't even lock up with me. They would have no clue what to do. So, for them to critique or ever say anything about any performer is asinine and just blows my mind."

"I'm aware of all these things. But, you have to look at it from many different perspectives. For me as a provider and as a man, I have a responsibility to provide. I can't look at it and get down on it because this is what they're thinking and what they're saying. To be honest, I really don't care. I can only do my thing and do the best that I can."

This is really sad.
R.I.P Sean O' Haire.

Smackdown SUCKED!! not because of the matches but because of a new announcer called Tom Philips who sounds just like Michael Cole. I had a hard time distinguishing their voices. Michael Cole is already annoying and we don't need another guy who sounds just like him.
