Oh San Francisco, You so silly

One of the very characteristic qualities of San Francisco is that large parts of it has hills like you wouldn't believe it. In some cases a bit more extreme then others like here on the appropriately named Russian Hill.

Could +Google retail stores be on the way? Rumors have surfaced that suggest we could see the first Google stores by the end of the year, coinciding with the release of Google Glass.

Do you think opening physical stores is a smart move for Google?

I have only been to the bar for lunch so I can't comment on the food from the restaurant. I was quite disappointed with the bar food. The service was good, with the waiting staff being friendly and relatively helpful. The atmosphere was perfect for a relaxed and laid back lunch. I would certainly go back for a drink, but not for food.

Stayed at Wineport Lodge for a brief weekend getaway. Really enjoyed the hotel. It's the perfect place for a relaxing weekend break. We went for dinner in the restaurant. The food was excellent. From pre starter to dessert and coffee everything was superb. The only thing I didn't quite enjoy was waiting in the bar while the table was prepared. I thought initially this was due to a delay but it turned out it was part of the normal procedure. The waiting staff were great, very friendly and attentive. While the food would be considered expensive to some it is worth the money.

Cineworld is one of the best cinemas in Ireland. With 17 screens they have the capacity to show a wide range of films from blockbusters to smaller indie films. Ticket prices are relatively expensive compared to other cinemas but that's what comes with a cinema in such a prime location. I was a bit disappointed to see them move away from the old ticket stubs. To me this takes away albeit only slightly from what I envisage as being the cinema experience. Other than that Cineworld is a great cinema and the Cineworld unlimited card is a must for any film lovers living in the centre of Dublin.

Good restaurant with high quality food. The meat used in the restaurant comes from one of the best butchers in Dublin, J.W. Smyth in Portmarnock. While I wouldn't describe the food as amazing it is very good and high quality ingredients are used for every meal. The service is friendly and professional. As with several other restaurants in Malahide, Sale e Pepe have a good value early bird menu available. If however you are ordering when this isn't available to food can appear to be on the expensive side.

As with most steakhouses the best way to go in my opinion is with the sharing steaks. I got the flank to share which at €34.95 (at the time of writing) it was great value for a steak for two. However the steak in terms of taste was somewhat disappointing, with it lacking the flavor I had expected. The sides were good. I didn't get to try the million dollar fries which I believe from friends are excellent. As with their sister restaurant CrackBird the lemonade in the jam jars is pretty cool and tastes great. The decor was cool, the sharing tables might put some people off but it is part of the experience. The service was fine, orders etc were taken and brought without delay. I will definitely give Bear another try to see if the disappointing steak was a once off or not and I will also give the million dollar fries a try too.

Went here for an early bird and had a very enjoyable meal. The waiting staff were very friendly and accommodating. Really enjoyed the chicken wings as my starter. The lasagna for my main meal was fine but nothing special. I had the tiramisu for my dessert, which I wouldn't normally have but it turned out to be one of the best I have had.

Great fried chicken, the garlic soy is a must try. Loved the idea of #tweetseats to generate interest at the start. Interesting sides and sauces which can be hit or miss depending on which ones you choose. The service while I wouldn't say I have had any bad service of note, some of the staff seem very disinterested at times with their customers. Other than that Crackbird is an excellent concept and is well worth a visit.
