Can't wait to read it!

When i was a kid, my parents would place books on the coffee table in the priority order of what they thought we should read. I have a daughter who turns 18 this year so I just shuffled the pile.

At the top we have +Sheryl Sandberg new book "Lean In". Launching today is also LeanIn.Org which is a global community committed to offering women the encouragement and support to lean in to their ambitions through three integrated programs:

The Lean In Community will bring women and men together to share stories and have daily conversations around topics that will help them achieve their goals.

Lean In Education will offer access to free online lectures, produced in collaboration with the Clayman Institute for Gender Studies at Stanford University, on topics including creating successful teams, combating gender bias, negotiating, and advocating for your ideas.

Lean In Circles are small groups that meet monthly to learn together and share experiences in an atmosphere of confidentiality and trust.

Water. Outhouse. Fun to play in the river and surrounding woods. Campsites near the road but it was not too trafficy.

Wow -- fresh homemade corn tortillas came along side my chicken mole at this hole in the wall. That was a special treat. Food was good. Tortillas were awesome. Kitchen seemed understaffed so service was a little slow.

The farmers market is one of the best things about Mountain View. There is fresh produce all year long. My family really loves peach season. There is always a line for the fresh Acme bread which has chewy ciabatta rolls and onion slabs. My kids love the balloon guy who will build you and animal balloon for $3. Greens, fresh fruit, fresh bread, a fish stand, specialty meats ... it is a stretch but you can get pretty much a whole week's shopping (except your grains) at the farmers market. Love it.

It is like walking into the 90s when you walk into the Dana Street roasters. These guys still have body piercings and are listening to the pixies. Coffee is good and they give you a free brewed cup when you buy a pound of beans. I also kinda liked the 90s.

The Milk Pail is special. It has good produce (not organic focused) at reasonable prices. Good cheese. Sometimes they have people in there doing Cheese tastings. Excellent selection of just random stuff. My husband buys duck fat there for cassoulet. Frozen croissants. Specialty local ice cream. And it's not all junk food, dont forget the produce. Downside is small aises and can be crowded but I like that.
