In case to can help...
My Ingress family, I want to stay alive. For that, I need your help.

My name is Charli Henley, or Abyssiphus for those who know me from the scanner. I am a Resistance agent who plays in Greater Boston and at anomalies around the country. I have a rare disease called granulomatosis with polyangiitis (GPA) that has damaged my kidneys. They no longer work well enough to keep me alive and I need a kidney transplant.

I can’t play much Ingress now. I’ve had to give up many of the things I love because kidney failure makes me exhausted and weak. I’m often nauseous and I can’t concentrate. Some days, standing up is a challenge.

I am on the waiting list for a deceased donor kidney but my wait time has been estimated at five to six years. Many people on the list die waiting. If I receive a kidney from a living donor, my chances of survival are greatly improved and I will be able to fully return to Ingress and the community I love.

I want to get back to First Saturdays. I love wandering around in little x-fac groups, doing missions, seeing new places, and helping new players level up.

I want more funny memories like the AR-induced panic I felt on the night I key farmed in a Boston snowstorm. I stood in thigh-deep snow and dropped a key on the ground. Then I looked down and gasped at my mistake. How would I ever find my key in all that snow? And then of course, I saw the key on my screen and giggled at myself, grateful that moving xm requires neither shovel nor plow.

I want another weekend adventure like the time we drove 200 miles north then took a ferry to take out blocking links. We barely made it back off the island when we almost missed the last ferry of the weekend. Then we sped 250 miles south, in time to help make fields that covered whole countries. Congratulations in comm came in many languages and I felt like I was part of something big and beautiful and important.

I miss the Ingress. I miss my friends.

Ingress is knowing a secret. Ingress is marching a mobius strip made of triumph and glory and crushing defeat. Ingress is going farther than you thought you would, farther than you thought you could. Ingress changed my life. Now I’m asking this community to save it.

Ugh.
Please stop destroying Ingress portals by pokestop removals
Remove the Pokestops if needed but as ingress portals they did not cause problems in the past and will not cause problems in the future. No need to destroy Ingress.

One day... one day I will visit NZ.
Bring it on, Wellington
Wellington, New Zealand

We are heading down to my home town of Wellington this weekend for the long weekend (as always if anyone wants to catch up for a coffee or a few shots let me know).

Hopefully the weather will be as nice as it was on this morning last time we were down in Wellington, when I went out shooting with Paul and Glen

D800, ISO100, f8, 1/8sec, 14mm
Processed in Lightroom and Photoshop

Gmail - I don't know what your damned problem is in Chrome, but you've pissed me off enough that I'm using Firefox to read you now. :p (The constant "loading..." notification is super frustrating.)

Dear Fitbit, I love your products but I dislike intensely how you have different chargers for each one. I was hoping that we could share chargers if he got a Surge and I got the Charge HR, but alas no.
