Meet Tanya Zaler, Engagement Director at Brookside!

"My favorite activity is when the residents and I get to decorate for an event, season or party. Whether it’s a monthly birthday party, a holiday picnic, Christmas or change in the season. We all have a great time with changing the look of the building. We change the center pieces on the dining room tables, the wreaths over the fire place ect. We decorate the outside walk ways too. It’s one activity that every resident can really enjoy and different ways. I have so many residents that are like assistants and do so much to help."

Is your adult parent retired and looking for a way to make some extra money? First, think about what it is they like to do – what are their hobbies? From there consider outside-the-box ways they can profit from this interest. Ex. If mom enjoys pets, consider helping her setup a dog walking or pet-sitting business. #Retirement #Finances
