The human capacity to care for others isn’t something trivial or something to be taken for granted. Rather, it is something we should cherish. Compassion is a marvel of human nature, a precious inner resource, and the foundation of our well-being and the harmony of our societies. If we seek happiness for ourselves, we should practice compassion: and if we seek happiness for others, we should also practice compassion.

PINTEREST: Thanks to Tiffany for the invite. I really like it. Quite addictive. :)

I've written a little review of my experience on there so far, and also linked to Tiffany Dow's blog post where she explains more. They don't have Google+ integration on there yet, but I'm sure it will come... http://vanessareece.com/interested-in-pinterest/

I didn't see this coming. Kind of tops Facebook giving Pages the Timeline look...
Twitter (enhanced) Brand Pages

Twitter is apparently getting ready to rollout enhanced brand pages, which will allow businesses to turn their simple pages into brand platforms with possible ecommerce capability.

This is actually a half-way decent idea though much will rely on the implementation. And with both Facebook and Google+ in the mix, it might still be too little too late. Where were you 18 months ago Twitter? You could have crushed it then.

How Google+ Can Win: Make Publishing Universal
by +Bindu Reddy

"In order to make public sharing universal, user behaviour needs to change dramatically. The good news is that Google touches pretty much every Internet user and is in a great position to make this happen. "

Here are some ideas on how they can do this:

1. Help people build a meaningful audience
2. Make public sharing safe and clean
3. Get people to share on Google+ when they are already sharing elsewhere
