Great event at Jedburgh Jail last night. The experiences reported included....a black shadow spotted in the same cell on two different occasions, the shadow appeared to have a smoke-like texture to it. This was recorded on a still photograph taken by one of the guests. Linda, our Spiritualist Medium, experienced a heavy cell door slamming on her hand causing an injury to her finger. Extreme cold spots were felt in various cells and strong smells were reported in various places. Banging noises were heard during one the session conducted in Block 1, but the source remained unconfirmed. The communication board experiments yielded some strong movement of the glass at times, but the information received seemed to be restricted to yes/no answers. Shapes were witnessed moving across a wall in one particular cell. The EVP experiments produced some great results, particularly during the last session conducted on the 1st Floor of Block 2. All in all, a great night with some interesting activity reported.
The EVP files have now been emailed to all guests. Thank you to everyone who attended!

After extensive thought and planning we have completely changed the format of our ghost hunts. We piloted the new format during our event at Inveraray Jail on 3rd March 2012. Feedback from guests attending the event was excellent!

The old format involved having various experiments set up in three different areas of the venue. Guests would be split into teams, and would tour around these experiments through the course of the event, over three sessions.

What has changed?

The new format is geared towards giving you more control of your own ghost hunting experience. Each experiment will tour the venue over the course of the ghost hunt rather than staying in one place. You will no longer be split into teams. Instead, you get to choose what experiments you will take part in over the course of three sessions. Essentially, you get to shape your own event.

Would you prefer to take part in the scientific experiments for the whole event? Maybe you are more drawn to the Spiritualist Medium experiments? Do you prefer EVP and wish to do that for the whole evening? Maybe you are drawn to particular area of the venue and wish to stay there? Would you much prefer to do lone vigils all night? Or maybe a mixture of everything? Its your ghost hunt, its your choice.

The new format will be applied to all future events as of now! Coming along and see for yourself. Check our events diary for a list of upcoming events. http://www.ghostevents.co.uk/diary.html

Great event at The Scottish Fisheries Museum last night. Among the experiences reported were figures spotted on more than one occasion and sounds in the form of knocks, bangs and footsteps. Sudden cold draughts were felt in a number of areas, although rational explanations were not ruled out. Moving lights were reported by more than one guest. The communication board experiments were highly successful with a large amount of information being received over two different sessions. The EVP experiments were very much on the quiet side with only one or two clear responses.

Thank you to everyone who attended!

It was a good night at Renfrew Victory Baths. Among the experiences reported were figures being spotted by a few people in the pool area, unusual audibles in the form of scraping noises were heard, fluctuating EMF readings were picked up in the gym area, a torch that seemed to switch itself on and off and the punch bag hanging from the ceiling in the gym was spotted swinging back and forth with nobody near it. Some guests reported feeling unwell in certain areas of the building, this has been a pattern that we have witnessed over multiple events. Other experiences reported by the guests included the physical sensation of being touched, someone felt electric shock sensations in their body, a chair was pulled from beneath one of the guests and multiple cold spots in various areas of the building. The EVP experiments in the dungeon area produced good results in the form of some angry sounding replies. After analysis, they very clearly contain some threats aimed at the group.

Thank you to everyone who attended the event. The EVP files have now been uploaded to our website. Download links have been sent to everyone by email.

Interesting night at Mary King's Close last night, without being overly active. Once again we implemented our new event format which we feel worked very well. Among the experiences reported were a few unexplained audibles. These came in the form of footsteps being heard, moaning noises and the sound of a cow bell. One guest reported a strong burning sensation on her arm which felt like 'a hot poker'. The EVP experiments were on the quiet side in terms of results, although, a few clear responses to questions were picked up. There were subtle successes in the dowsing, scrying and table tipping experiments, again, without being outstanding. Also reported were some rather strange EMF readings that seemed to bizarrely fluctuate. It was definitely one the quietest nights that we've had in Mary King's Close, but that's what makes it real! Thank you to all of the guests who attended. The EVP files have now been emailed over to you all.

It was a great event at Inveraray Jail. We piloted a new event format which we feel was a great success. We are extremely excited about the new format and more information will be announced very soon.

There were various experiences reported throughout the night in various parts of the jail. Various audibles were heard including footsteps, a mumbling male voice and the sound of someone snoring (verified not to be anyone attending the event!).

There were also some physical interactions, with one of the guests reporting to have been scratched. Another guest, reported the sensation of burning on her cheek, a closer look showed a large rectangular red mark across the lower part of her cheek.

The experiments on the ouija board were successful in some parts of the jail with names, dates and some very specific information coming through. There were also a number of experiences reported during the scrying experiments.

Moving lights were witnessed throughout the event in both the courtroom and in the new jail block.

The audio experiments provided some interesting results with a selection of clear responses being recorded. Some of it rather aggressive in nature! The audio files have now be emailed to all of the attendees.

Thank you to all of the guests who attended this event!
