Little Prince is now open at 199 Prince Street in SoHo (between Sullivan St. and MacDougal St.) This new destination, featuring Chef Matt Conroy, aims to be a cozy neighborhood stand-by.

Featuring classic French bistro items, the menu includes Roast Duck, Bistro Chicken and Steak Frites, in addition to lighter fare such as Crudités, Ratatouille and Mussels. Signature specials include an “off-menu” French Onion Soup Burger with caramelized onions and gruyere.

Little Prince will also feature a frequently rotating beer program, highlighting unique French and local beers and seasonal French cocktails.

Dramatic floral arrangements accent the light-filled space, which has floor-to-ceiling windows that look out on bustling Prince Street. Caramel banquettes line the walls and the wooden bar is warmly lit by classic globe pendant lamps. Hand-painted ceramic floor tiles complete the bistro ambience.

This is a very pretty little restaurant. The food is good, but not amazing. Altogether a bit overpriced. The chicken and salmon are pretty good choices. The staff were a bit steely. On a side note, I tried calling several times (9 in total) during business hours and no one picked up and the voicemail was full. Also, a planter fell on another couple when we were there, and we were worried it might happen to us.. All in all, not bad but most likely won't return.

Terrible service, and terrible manners from the staff. Completely rude and negative vibes are all over. Do not recommend at all.

I stopped in here with a group of ~10 on a burger crawl around brunch time. The french onion soup is a solid burger and beyond flavorful, served on a crispy English muffin. Love grill marks? This is your place. It is a bit small so isn't always good for groups, but the staff is very friendly and accommodating.

The Bitches say: B+. Little Prince had some standouts (i.e. farro salad and short rib hash), which we’d return for, and some other normal but well-executed classics, which we wouldn't write home about. Read more on our site!

eaten here twice for brunch. Seating at a table has eluded me both times as Little Prince is quite popular and understandably so. With that said service at the bar is excellent and the staff are more than willing to chat you up. The food is delicious to say the least and on my first visit had the acclaimed French Onion Soup Burger, which lived up to it's reputation. For more on the burger, check out the press section of their site(they have reviews many times better than anything i can do). On my second visit, I had to try an old brunch standby "Steak and Eggs" and once again Little Prince did not disappoint.
