Well this is nice.

google+ lets me upload .gif files. My aw-sum computer skills come through again...

This is our cat Scrabble. I built a little platform for him using the glass from a broken scanner. I used a great front surface mirror from an old overhead projector to reflect his image to my camera.

Four lights and burst mode on my D7000. And I caught him with a crunchy balance don his tongue three times.

It looked funny when I paged through in Lightroom so I made a .gif out of it.,

Cheers.

Phailed Photos.

The local dollar store had some chocolate oranges. I only bought one which was dumb. I rarely get any shot right the first time.

This shot didn't have enough delay. I went back to the store but the oranges were gone.

Two days ago I got some white chocolate oranges and got the delay right but white chocolate does not look as good as dark...

Cheers.

Phailed Photo.

A line of Christmas bulbs filled with jello get hit. I set the delay too high so the amount of break-y chaos was too much.

My next try was perfect and I put it up on Flickr.

Cheers.

Phailed Photos.

At a garage sale e few weeks ago I saw some kits for assembling several types of wooden insect models. I picked up a few.

This shows one being hit by my marble cannon. Not very interesting so I didn't assemble the other two.

They will go to the thrift store.

Cheers.

Not only is this a boring shot it was a real mess. I though that the plastic heart was filled with water and beads. It was mineral oil and beads.

Yucky.

From the Phailed Photo series.

From time to time I try shooting transparent things under cross polarized screen. The colors show the stresses in the usually transparent objects.

This was a piece of plastic from a bad LCD screen. Pretty colors but nothing really new.

Cheers,

Again a Phailed Photo.

I am currently trying to clean out my massive oversupply of targets. A bag of five gluesticks made for four failed pictures.

Here is one of them.

Another Phailed Photo.

I was curious if the very fast ball bearing would make interesting patterns as it passed through smoke trails.

Five incense sticks provided the smoke and the answer.

Boring.
