Hey guys,
See from 6:40
There's a great interview with a reporter who has been at OWS from day 3, speaking on the eviction and the conviction it's given to the occupiers. Plus straight after that there's an interview with someone from Occupy Melbourne about the occupation so far at the Treasury Gardens.

Audio, for the download conscious! XD

Just a reminder guys that the occupation is starting right now @ Perth Cultural Center. At 7PM we will begin talking about the questions and how the Q&A will be run.
The Q&A starts at 7:30pm, head down whether you like us or loath us. All people are invited to question the Occupy movement globally and locally.
Equally, anybody can stand up and answer questions.

See link below

Also a proposal will be made this Thursday to play a 30 min video which is Part 1 in a 4 part mini series of videos collected on the Global Occupy Movement.
It will be addressing the first part of the quote:

"First they ignore you,
Then they mock you,
Then they fight you,
Then you win."

Whether or not it is chosen to be played it will be uploaded between Sunday 3am-8am, for anyone interested.
A news update, for the news not in the news. XD

Of course all events are completely free and anything before 7 will be appropriate for all ages (we will confirm this Thursday).

Perth Cultural Center

Roe, Aberdeen, Beaufort and, William Street, Northbridge WA 6003
Perth, Western Australia

5:30pm - Gather
7:00pm - Begin applications for QandA panel members
7:30pm - Q&A Public Forum - hosted by Tony Serve

1:00pm - Flash Mob Action - Target: Serco

This outline will be voted on and anyone with new ideas will be able to add to it at the GA on Thursday 6:30pm @ Forrest Place.

I encourage everyone to come down and tell as many people about it! All activities are open to everyone, so if you have a band you would like to play (bare in mind it'll be unpaid) or if you have an idea of topic you'd like to cover in the Q&A, or you'd like to be a part of the panel, get in contact with me or any of the other occupiers. Or just come on Thursday and be a part of the meeting.

Hopefully see you guys on the weekend!

EDITTED 3:32pm 15/11 - Originally said the GA on Thursday was at 6pm, corrected to say 6:30pm.

Iceland from 2003 to now.

Another example of positive global news never being shown on our media.
522 citizens put their hand up to write a new Constitution for Iceland.
25 citizens were voted to write this Constitution online.

Today Iceland is getting back on track and is refusing to bow to pressure being supported in Greece, Spain and Italy, who are saying that privatisation of national assets is the answer.

Some Factual Errors in the Article:
"I am an Icelandar and thank you for this article. There are three things wrong . Iceland is not par member of the European Union, we nearly went bankrupt but not compleatly. Yceland war independant in 1944 not 1918."
- Vilmundur Hansen

"However, it is a member of the EFTA (European Free Trade Area). "

Non violent community project, to encourage conversation.
Occupy Perth began the physical movement on October 15th, on the international day of action.
Today, Occupy movements are growing all over the world and will continue to do so.

We started by standing in solidarity with the occupiers in America but now we stand with people from all over the world.

We have many online communities which try to keep people updated as much as possible including two facebook groups:

We also have many working groups including:
Police liaison

These people communicate using Google Group subscribed mailing lists. If you want to help work in one of these areas just ask!
