Bone in ribs were just okay. Plenty of meat and seasoned well, but also a bit tough. Sides were fine. They were completely out of fried chicken which was a huge bummer. I'll likely go again, but the overall quality doesn't warrant the price.

Very mixed dining experience. The place is absolutely beautiful inside and shows plenty of pride in its creation. It's truly an inviting space that sadly looks out of place in the shell of a downtown that people long ago forgot about. This initial beauty is countered with lack of attention to detail like removing some of the impressively gigantic spiderwebs accumulating on and around some of the upper lights. The menu is interesting and offers items well out of the norm for Elyria. It's unfortunate that the food was just okay. Not offensive, but nothing that stood out. The spicy noodles & pork was pretty good, and unexpectedly used a pork sausage rather than more standard fare. I was told that the mac & cheese was alright, but somehow not that flavorful with all that went into it. A veggie pizza was the low spot for my table. The dough was great, but the pizza was a bit bland. In addition, a slice and a half had zero toppings or cheese of any sort on them. Just cooked dough. I understand that the way the pizza cooked may have caused this, but it's borderline unacceptable. The menu does look exciting with its varied options, but that may be the entire problem with the food. Consensus from everyone I know that's been here had nothing more positive to say about the food than it was alright. A lack of focus on making a cohesive delicious menu and instead offering everything that's chic from food truck tacos to Italian meals could be holding this place back. Next to the beautiful interior, the beer list stands out as a champion. A wide array of beer that shies away from from redneck juice in a can to brands, styles, and flavors that are a unique and a welcome change. Plenty of local brews as well which is a great touch. Our waitress was great as well as the busgirl (apologies if I've mistaken her station, but she was pretty cool), yet there was some staff that seriously looked pissed to be there. I get it. I don't like going to work either, but I put on my stupid happy face because we live in a society where stupid happy faces are prerequisites to our drone-like existences. I've written entirely too much because I want this place to succeed and I want it to be great. This could be the start of something good for downtown and I'd hate to see it turn into yet another boarded up space.

Great selection of things to see covering the history of baseball and its precursors. Room layout of some sections is problematic with dead-ends forcing incoming and outgoing folk into a people traffic jam. While there is ample parking, the street meters are for 2 hours, and you'll likely want more than 2 hours to experience all this place has to offer.

If you enjoy terrible service in a nearly empty restaurant, this place is for you. Met my parents here for a meal (I'm an excellent son) and there were 3-4 tables of others there. Took an extremely long time for someone to come to the front to see if we would like to be seated, and then we were told they needed to clean a booth first. Again - a maximum of 4 other tables with people in this place. Took even longer for our waitress to even make an appearance. Manager actually took drink orders and delivered drinks prior to our waitress dropping by. I could write more about the poor service or the lackluster food (exception being my dad's pancakes - he ate them like he was fresh out of prison tasting real food) but there's no point. They don't care, and looking at some of the other reviews it doesn't seem like this is an odd occurrence.

Beautiful park and lake in the middle of nowhere. Zero cell reception is a plus in a place like this.
